So all the - sorry - nitpicky whining in the last days was futile.

The figure looks great, the likeness and tanning of the faceplates is good.
The color of the bodyarmor is ok, not as dark as in the movie but not as silver as many were fearing based on pictures.

Only thing I realized in Clipperkings vid is a step back in the engineering of the holster cover.
The side part was constructed of two parts that were folding when opened.
Also the holster of the gun was attached to the outer cover and extended when the leg was opened.

I think the stability of the pistons on the lower legs is almost non existent, it looks really fragile.

The plastic gun is really impressive since it now also cocks.
Looks great.

CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE FIGURE!!! :D

Thanks for that! Very thorough and informative as always.

While still miffed about the color, I'm feeling slightly better about it after seeing Clipper's video. Yeah it's too silver, but there's definitely some nice variety and tonage going on in the paint as the camera works its way around the figure. I'm also slightly less irritated about the holster now that Clipper showed the front part of the leg pulls out and forward as it should; some of the other videos and photos overlooked that detail, making it appear as though the chintzy side hatch was the extent of it all. I also like that the clip is removable from the pistol; would be cool to do a pose of him loading the gun but I suspect both hands couldn't reach the gun with his articulation.

Sounded like the feet were metal as well when Clipper was showing the toe articulation. Rory or Clipper, can you confirm whether or not the back armor is diecast? Thanks.

Bountiful morning, Terminator BD and this arrived earlier.
Very very nice. It is too silver, but it has got some nice tones to it also. You need a lower exposure camera-wise to show it off properly. Anything to bright and it blows it like aluminium foil. Like-wise for video. But it is still too stylised bright. Rubber in arms and knees, hopefully like IM not ED. Heavy vinyl sections are not an issue. faceplates are too "warm" but minor nitpick.
I really don't know why they bothered with die-cast though.

This is a beautiful figure. And guys, the chair is awesome, it looks just like a cheap 80's film prop, which is great.

Thanks for the info, Rory!

Nope, I'm no chair hater! You Hater!

Don't get the chair.

When I get it I'll take 100 pictures of the chair just for DiFabio. I'll post them all.

I'm just gonna post one picture of the chair. It will be so completely awe inspiring that Fab will consume himself with grief (or implode like the house at the end of Poltergeist).

:lol

:rotfl

Just saw The Dead Zone a few days ago. Very underrated.

Absolute classic piece of cinema history.

He's not too top heavy, but I still wouldn't leave him without a stand. Diecast adds that extra overall weight, so if he topples he's more likely to be damaged.
And yeah, he is silver but not C3PO levels.
Rorywan, can you tell me if his back is diecast? How about his feet? I'm just wondering if OMG's diagram was incomplete in regards to the plastic/diecast mix. Thanks!
