Also, I'm happier with the sheen of the armor. There's quite a bit of purple hue going on in Clipper's video. I figure in hand, under natural light, he won't be as bad. I ain't going to have camera lights, lamps or spotlights on him.

Coulda been worse, they could have left it in the prototype colors!

Anyone think the Robo that comes with the chair will have fewer die cast parts than the regular for weight's sake? Maybe the regular has more diecast because it won't sit on the chair?

any concerns w/ people and the rubber cracking like what's goin on w/ ED??

im a little concerned but it looked like a different rubber than what ed has

man, i hope not
get a 25% diecast version of robo AND pay more

Who would be down with a 1/6 Ford Taurus?
Hell no! Ugly car, not iconic and likely it couldn't accommodate Robo.

As others have joked, a 1:6 Hot Toys robocar would actually cost more than an actual 1986 Ford Taurus.
And that.

No chance that there's any difference between the chair and chairless version. Just wouldn't make sense for them to do that at all.

Not caring for the bright silver or purple highlights. Would have really liked to see more blues like the original suit. Otherwise a good get for those who pick it up.

Watching Clippers review of this really makes me want this figure badly. I'm very confident in the figure and believe it will be underrated if you are simply looking for the perfect colour. It looks spectacular.

The figure is great but the colour is definetly off. The blue tinge that's so visible in the movie just isn't there on the figure and the silver is too bright. Not that the casual observer would notice.

One did have a good bit of blue in it. Just not as much as two. Looking at stills the purple seems accurate now. I guess the problem I'm having with it is that the silver should have had a blue tinge to it. I know I'm nit picking but I really loved the colors of the suit. To me there really wasn't a whole lot of "silver" in it. :dunno

Yes he was blueish, but not THAT blueish. For the most accurate reference, people should refer to screenshots from the remastered blu-ray released earlier this year.

the pearling effect of the paint does looks nice, in clips video, you can see it does a good job of capturing the on screen hues

Conversation is going around in circles.

I think most of agree that upon seeing Clippers video, this figure rocks but it's just a small pity he so silver. But still rocks. :)
