quick 25 second clip. Not mine...still deciding :)

Just wait till it goes on sale, but depending on how people act maybe they are waiting like you to see more pics and reviews, but I say wait for a $20 dollar off coupon time and flexpay this sucker, but I'll tell you for sure after the 25th when I get mine, though I already know I'm not going to be disappointed.

Wow finally got a shipping notice for the 25th, yay I get it at the end of the month after thanksgiving.
Not sure if I should be excited or not, this figure is definitely been too long of a wait.

After spending a few day with the new robo and comparing it to the enterbay version, I feel the ht version is a better representation of robocop
Not only am I referencing the figure itself but also the general feel that your looking at robocop
The articulation on the ht version is key. I wouldn't call it overly special as it has it flaws when certain parts are exposed(arm rod over extended, gaps in the wrist and ankles) it's just that the eb version is that bad in comparison
Now, I'm not a good poser by any means but the eb version cannot even bend 90 degrees in the arm/elbow, has very little ab articulation, and the neck is limited by a remote feature instead of having a joint
The ability of the ht version to hit iconic poses is what makes it feel more like robocop

The figure itself is also better starting at the helmet. The eb version does seem too long/tall when compared to the ht version. Both do good jobs on the sculpts, both have their advantages(ht = variety of mouthpieces, eb = better skin tones)
The one spot where the eb version might win is the body. Articulation aside, it provides a more accurate paint job and it's proportions are a little more accurate. The eb arms are attached a little higher but neither are high enough
Ht hands blow away the eb version as do the forearm areas. It's a struggle to keep the forearm pieces on the eb version while adjusting the hands
When compared to the ht version, the eb does feel somewhat cheap, especially for the price
Neither are perfect. Hot toys had the opportunity to really make the figure close to perfect with a better paint job, but I do think it's the best version out there

I loved your review and you hit every point dead on 5X10 I think its funny that someone right away jumped at it and said the enterbay one is still more movie accurate :lol but regardless best review, hardcore fans will prob. want to own both but like you said for the price of the EB one it shouldn't feel cheap, great review man thanks for you imput.

I haven't gotten around to taking any pictures of mine yet but I love this figure. For all of the bitching and moaning about paint color, I think he looks great in hand. Solid build and a decent amount of accessories included = WIN. I set him up a shelf temporarily until I get pics and showed my wife when she walked in the room. Her immediate response was "Oooh, he looks good."--which is basically like her saying FOTY :lol Definitely glad I got him and can't wait to get some cool display shots.

***** and moan? Who? Moi? :monkey3 :lol

I mean it's obviously the best 1/6 RoboCop ever made and very likely tops the EB Robo as the best high-end Robo collectible (outside of maybe 1:1) period, but it doesn't look nearly as accurate as the proto. That being said, it's not a deal breaker.

^^^ excellent after a few days to marinate review. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

thanks for the kind words fellas!

Looking Sick Mike, really digging the chain link fence in the background, really helps set the tone for his Chair room!!!
Good catch, I missed it the first time around
Mr Ecko, what/where did you that fencing in that scale, would be an easy dio to setup that adds a big punch to the look

So are all you guys on board for the Battle damaged as well? I want one but I don't think I want to drop $650 for two Robocop figures. I'm truly undecided as to which to purchase. Value wise it seems like the Regular is a no brainer. BD just seems to steep in price for the offering.
Since the battle-damaged is essentially a glorified repaint of this figure (albeit a really good one), I want to get this figure in-hand first to make sure I love it enough to own two versions before placing an order for the other one. If the chrome paint is as bad in hand as it appears in many of the photos in videos, I'd also consider selling this version and getting the battle-damaged version in its place this time next year. The other one is still chrome instead of gun-metal blue/grey, but there's enough dirt and grime to really reduce the overall brightness, at least in the prototype.

Still don't get why would anyone wants to compare the two, very different product but I guess it's the " my dad is stronger than yours" syndrome.
Ill play too :)
I think hot toys ed209 is much better than the Neca one.

I finally decided for the robocop with chair, he looks freaking iconic in it.
But that lootentoy is quite weird, he finally got back to me he has shipping material but dont send me the invoice...
