Just saw this on ToyHQ's Facebook:
Writing if off as "first batch" issues???

This is BS, people bought from sideshow and they were not the first batch. BS to sell their stuff.

Retailers will spin all sorts of guff to avoid giving a refund. Hurts their bottom line.

Mine looks like this too...
But I cant see cracks in the dome. I got mine from USH.

I used some photos on here that were very similar to my ED. My ED's legs are showing the most cracking.
The dome isn't showing that much but the front is showing something at the edge. Like its smushed in.

TBH, I dont know **** about how Facebook works. But, when I check the site, I see nothing about the ED209 problems. All I see is new product announcements and that stupid ******* Woodfords memes. How can we keep the message alive on their FB page?

Yes It's typically called the common courtesy of a reach around, but I thought it seemed relevant here. As in they are reaching around and rubbing us off with this whole first batch issue crap to distract us from the fact that we are still being in the rear. Either way I just feel dirty afterwards.

SSC wanted pictures for my return claim, ive never returned anything to them before. I gave them pictures from
on here since mine isn't super bad yet but the pictures of the leg cracks were very similar to mine.Do you think they will believe me?
The cracks on my dome are too small to see on camera too so the picture of dome I sent them also wasn't mine.

You should be sending them pictures of your product. Why lie to them?

Im not lying about it, the pictures I sent them were pictures of another members ED(optibotimus it think)
but it is very similar to how mine looks.Mine is a little less cracked though that's also why I didn't send them
pics of mine , I don't want them to say " well that's not so bad maybe u can fix it somehow " or some crap.
I wanted them to know just how bad this ED problem is.

Two things:

(1) They do look at these boards and by sending them someone else's pics you may have fraudulently requested a refund.
(2) They will check the set you sent them and may compare it to the pics you sent, so if it either doesn't look damaged or is completely
different then the pics you may have created a situation for yourself.

This is an expensive collectible, like the Batmobile fiasco they are not gonna be willy nilly about this like a QC issue with a head or body part on a figure.

Oh I didn't know that, I've never had to return anything from sideshow before and didn't think it mattered since all the EDs are
rotting pretty much the same.

SSC sent me an RMA email yesterday, today, I received 27 more. (Glitch in their system)


And just send your own pics guys, I told SSC that my rubber was sucked in and that I was sure that the cracking was to follow. As some parts of my dome have become shinier than other parts....

Mine ISNT cracking yet, anywhere. I'm just not taking that gamble as much as I like to keep this piece. I think everyone that ordered From SSC should do the same. Wanna be heard? That's the way.

Honesty is key, they are pretty cool and they are taking care of customers.

Don't expect that treatment if you send others peoples pics though.

Awh hell I really didn't think it would matter if I took my own pics or not as it was so similar to the way mine is cracking on the leg rubbers. Its true that my dome hasn't fully cracked yet but I can see it coming eventually as the front looks weird.
Hope they don't mind if mine looks a little different. Im kind of a noob when it comes to SSC as I usually buy from BBTS.
BBTS is really good about returns for stuff.

No one said it was a good thing but this to inform the people of the option they have.
I dont have the option to ship it back even if i had i would not coz i love the figure itself.
So im into this until we find a solution.
