Unless they've swapped it out since Comic Con (and it doesn't look to me like they have), the dome isn't fabric.

A little hard to tell. It looked like it was either rubber or flexible plastic...definitely not hard plastic.

But seriously, I'd be really surprised if the dome is rubber. I would imagine enough people have told them about the issues the first time around.

Well hot toys doesn't use rubber anymore they use Vinyl.

I think its pretty ridiculous that we can't get confirmation one way or another about what they've used for the dome. Considering how big the rubber rot issue was on the first release. Why can't this simple question be answered? Whats the dome made of?

Their communication is pants. Unless they've communicated it in Chinese and no Chinese speakers have bothered to tell us. Just it seems like something that should have been officially brought up this time, I dunno, to encourage preorders - ''by the way we fixed the dome issue, it won't be a concern now, buy without fear''.

They sent me a part for my Iron man MKIV back when he came out and the comms we're fine. I think i was just jammy though.
