Me too, awaiting reply.

So how does SS normally replace bodies? Do they strip everything and send you a naked one?

Btw, am i the only one with a stained AIM shirt?

I'm pretty sure they just going to ship you the body only, not sure about the arms though.

Got my Mechanic today and wow, this figure needs more love. :clap I was torn between this and the mech test version but After having it in hand I have no regrets! Here's a crappy phone shot for now, will be taking lots of pics in the coming days

My only gripe is that the nail gun doesn't seem to fit well into the trigger hand. It just hangs in there loosely but can't seem to do a solid firing pose. Anyone figured this out?

Congrats :clap

Agree about the hand, it doesn't hold the gun properly. Only way I could get it to look decent was by tweaking the wrist up and hiding the awkwardness with the watch.

FINALLY got this today (was supposed to be here Friday the 13th, thanks for nothing UPS!).

This really is a fun figure. Hard to say whether I like it better than Mech Test v2. The other figure is fun with the pieces of armor on him. This is fun because it shows the ingenuity of Tony with the make shift gadgets. Makes for a nice change from usual Stark looks.

I ended up giving the Mech Test v2 the headset as I felt it looked really good on that figure. The headset is slightly different from the one that came with that set, but since they are meant for the same headsculpt, there is no issues about it fitting properly.

Got mine last night.

Haven't had a chance to set him up, but all the accessories look incredible. Glad I decided to get this guy.

Got mine last night but just got around to opening it today.

Thankfully my arc reactor lights up; however, when I shut it off I can still see it on very faintly. Hopefully this doesn't cause any long term affects.

Got him on Wednesday. Clothes fit him very well and the paint looks awesome on the head sculpt. However putting on the Mark 42 leg had me swearing for hours!

Will hopefully take some better photos in natural light at the weekend.

Is it difficult getting the pant leg tucked into the armor piece or what? I get mine tomorrow but I was wondering how that's going to go. :lol

The problem I had was getting the armor piece high enough up his leg. His pant leg moving with the armor part was the problem. It's easier if you use tweezers to pull the leg through or a tight elastic band to stop it from moving.

Is anyone else having the same issue as me?

I cannot get his right arm to bend at the elbow. I thought it was just a defected piece, so I contacted Sideshow and they sent me a replacement arm. I just received it today, same issue. Will not bend at the elbow.

I had this problem. I took his lower arm out and wobbled the elbow back and forth with reasonable force. After about 7mins it loosened. :)

The joints on my figure's elbows were the most solid I have ever come across in any figure I ever handled :lol

I almost broke a sweat trying to move them, then remembered that using a hair dryer to warm it up first always worked wonders - and it did! :D

Just got him in. The initial in-hand pics had me wary, with Tony looking more like a cheap bash than a $230 figure.

Thankfully, that's not the case. The Mechanic is one slick figure, and I'm happy to have him as my first non-armored Tony Stark. Is he worth the pricetag? Probably not; But from box to accessories, it's a beautiful set.

I had the same issue but I just keep bending it to get it loose.

Damn, I should've used a hair dryer...why didn't I think of that.:gah:

Crappy phone pics but the figure is awesome! Same stiff joint issues on mine but no arc reactor problems! Wish it was a little cheaper but I'm a big fan of the heroes in civilian clothes! Can't wait for the dynamic stand!
