Please place the piece in a cloth bag, pillow case, or heavy duty trash bag to contain any flying debris that result from destroying your piece. Wow, that's hardcore! LOL It's a shame they don't just return it to HT to have it fixed, and then sell the part separately like Toy Anxiety...

Honestly this is one of the reasons (aside from the higher price, Taxes, lazy shipping) Im reluctant to buy from them. I don't want to destroy anything. At that point I would just cut the thing open and try to fix it my self, rather than putting it in a blender.

If it was something minor i would fix it myself but at $200 i should not have to cut it open. I can't complain this the 1st major problem i have had and they had a replacement body in the mail a couple days after I contacted them.

I have to smash the body and send them pictures to prove I did it.
I don't understand why they wouldn't just accept the damaged body back and have it returned to Hot Toys so they can re-use parts of it or try and fix it. I'm assuming that I'll have to do the same since I emailed them about the light not working properly on mine.

There no need to cut open... you'll just have to undo some glue of the top rubber torso.... You can disassemble the entire body to its most basic parts and put it back together again..

I've 7 Tony(s) so far... odds are a couple of the body are not working...

I have never pulled one apart. I will play with it to see how it comes apart and goes back togther before i destroy it. Then if i have this problem in the future i will be more comfortable fixing it myself.

just saying....:monkey3:monkey3

Disassembled = Destroyed... though one is reversible... you also can split the legs at the seams where they are glued together

Mechanic repose... wanted to actually see all the stuff in his backpack. He needs a companion piece... I'm thinking Mark 1 2.0. Too bad that thing skyrocketed in price! I just love the whole genius put stuff together out of scraps aspect of Tony Stark.
