Next month, this thing will only cost me $100...pretty sweet. I'm happy it's only costing me $130 because at $315 plus shipping, that would be a hard pill to swallow.

did you preordered it? if not good luck cause this aint be available to purchase next month

I would have bought it if it was out a bit later, but it kinda jumps up on ya with the JAN release....

To be honest I could've done with it coming out later too, I broke my rule regarding my collecting hobby & have to use a credit card to purchase it, my rule is never to buy unnecessary things (like collectibles) on credit..., this is a one off though & I can pay it off quick enough, that's probably why I did it BUT I'm now going to cancel the credit card once I've paid for this & save myself the temptation of debt in order to get things I can't otherwise obtain. :/

Good rule to have. I'm upgrading my computer at the start of January so I didnt want to push that back just to get this guy when I also have Falcon(maybe), Starlord, Winter Soldier and Cap 2pk that month and my first flex payments for Rocket&Groot, Arkham Batman, Raiden, and Gamora

If you can control yourself its a good idea to have credit card(s) even if you don't use it, your combined credit limit is a big part of what makes up your credit score. Even just shred the card if you have to but don't close the account.

That's a lot of preorders..., some very nice things coming your way soon then. I sometimes forget all the things I've got on preorder, unhelpful when trying to balance the books. lol :) Apart from a fair number of Iron Man figures I've got quite a bit of Star Wars items still to come..., I keep saying that's enough but then I see something else I like & work out the payment plans to see if I can add it to my list of payments or if I have to wait a while.

Sound advice, thanks. :)

I totally understand people having this sort of rule but to me, as long as you are responsible, it's a little silly.....credit cards give rewards points. It's basically free money. Even 1% back on a $250 figure is $2.50. It doesn't sound like much but it adds up.

Yeah... Canceling a credit account dings your credit. Will impact you when you go to buy a car or a house unless you are paying in all cash.

I've stated this many times. I do not use credit cards on any toy purchases . It's the best approach in this hobby
