One more off the list. Can't wait for Peacemaker to arrive!
So are you guys also gonna get the Mark III Battle Damaged Suit, Mark III Gunmetal, Mark IV Secret Project, Mark VI Avengers, Mark VII Battle Damaged and Stealth Mark VII?
To be honest, I really don't really want any of the battle damaged variants since I strongly prefer a more pristine look, nor do I want the Stealth Mark VII since I already have the regular one which I like more. The only remaining Iron Man figure that I don't have that I would consider getting is the Avengers Mark VI, because I really like that armor and am too impatient to wait for a remake. If I could find that for a bargain, I'd jump on it. Otherwise, I'm still in the mindset that I'll wait for remakes of the remaining six Hall of Armor suits before I buy any of them.
Don't get me wrong...I'd love to have that set up! But I'm not sure how much more my wallet can take before it rolls over and dies. It's been enough of a financial adventure to catch up and get this far.

On a related note, I just checked eBay for the Avengers Mark VI and audibly gasped when I saw the average asking price. :eek
Nice set up. That's nothing you should see the price of the Gunmetal Mark III, it's over $3400.00
Nice clean setup Zack! I need to get another detolf, it's getting crowded with all the armors I have
I'm sorry, did you say...$3400?
Yep, there is one currently listed for $3400.00

Thanks for the suggestion, Ryan! I've been trying to think of a good way to display Igor, and that idea sounds like it would look really cool!Zackhigh, I'd like to make a fun and very cheap suggestion for your display. Go to Tap Plastics and get a sheet of 1/8" acrylic the same size as your shelves. Then put Igor to use by resting it on his supports. The acrylic is very light and will put almost no weight on him, and will look cool like he's raising the shelf up because he's too big to fit.
Ryan
Alright. I think I might give that a try. Thanks again for the info. I appreciate it!I wouldn't want to add too much weight on top of him. It would push down on the figure and even walking by could cause something to topple. You could do something like the museum putty (clear gooey stuff) to reinforce the acrylic shelf and put one figure on top like he's getting squished because Igor stood up.
Then your whole display looks like a nice, sterile museum of posed figures with a dynamic disruption going on in the bottom corner, giving it some surprise life.
Ryan
I think this is probably the worst looking Iron Man figure made. I had it, and sold it off for $1,000 a year or so back. It just didn't have any shelf presence and looks blah to me.
I have the other grey special edition that I'll sell off soon for the same reason. It sits in the back of my display, with all the cooler looking armors in front of it.
Maybe I am in the minority, but they just don't do much for me.
