Agreed that the rain gear version looks better. The photos -- from posing to tailoring -- look like the whole thing is a bit rushed. I expect there should be some refinements on the production piece. The pants stick out as looking bad, but they achieved a good tailoring job on Tarkin, so no reason to panic.

I like that the rank insignia can be changed on the rain code for either a Lah'Mu or Eadu look.

Very happy we get all looks together in one non-deluxe version.

The sculpt isn't blow me away wow quality. But still pretty good. I hope they do some good modifications from proto to production.

Still just so damn happy this even exists.

The posing in some of the shots is bloody terrible though. I mean look at this. Looks like a Thunderbirds Virgil !

He's totally doing the macarena there.

I for one think the likeness is really good. Better than Tarkin at least. As great a sculpt as Tarkin is, something is just off on the shape of his head. I have no complaints with Krennic. Very happy he comes with everything he could possibly. The interchangeable rank badges was not something I wanna expecting! Very nice move there.

Yeah, some poor posing choices in a lot of these photos to really show the figure off.

He's not a must have for me, but I do think the ideal minimalist R1 display would be Jyn and Krennic. As someone mentioned, I agree that the sculpt isn't blow me away quality, but it's not bad. If I really wanted him, it wouldn't be a deal breaker. I might eventually get him if I can, but I'm not in a hurry to do so and wouldn't be devastated if I didn't have him.

And as others have mentioned, I do like that he includes all looks, including the different rank badges. Excellent included detail.

For a bit of entertainment I went onto the facebook page for Hot Toys Krennic announcement and sure enough a vast majority of posts are crying where is [insert any name here] figure. Is it any wonder Hot Toys seemingly doesn't listen to it's customer base when after years of crying out for a figure, the overwhelming response is "but where is...."

The imperial hat looks good on the figure and it appears they did not include a narrow hairsculpt with this figure. It’s sits pretty natural and does not stick out badly like most poorly designed dollie hats.

He’s looking pretty good. A buy for me no matter what but hopefully there will be some slight tweaks for release. Like the inclusion of the rain gear but that also means he’s pretty much guaranteed to have a nice hair seam going all the way around his head, like Ragnorak Thor.

It appears they are including an additional hairpiece with a magnet and the hat is magnetic, that should work out well keep it attached.
