I doubt they made 5000 tumblers. I'd say more like 1000-1500

Better to have double the supply than 2 little. Look at the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo JUST really caught up with production. I think if they have 5000 tumblers out there in the supply chain for us its for the better. No price gouging. Could you imagine how much some seller would try to beat people in the head for if this thing was limited? Also, if they do another Batman movie anytime soon, they will already have this thing produced and ready for sale. It will just be one of those things that can be easily gotten. To me, 5000 still does not seem like so much when you consider this item will end up in people's hands all over the globe. There is a listing for it up on amazon.......

I hope that is not the case for the Asian ebay sellers and sellers like Joe, cause that is way to long from now, that would really suck if we have to wait so long again

Well, it IS released in HK, plus there are heaps of eBay sellers (Studio Sunny ) that say they have it in stock now so...........I say buy one from them so we can new pictures here asap!

this is what ABC said replied:

HI,HOT TOYS has just released the first lot of batmobile fo their ownretail shop.We will get their 2nd lot after 3-4 weeks.abc


and this is what to_bid_or_not_to_bid replied about the 5000 tumblers:
Yeah unless I heard it wrongly. A month after Hot
Toys release the news about Batmobile, the
production were 3000pcs. I think I have a print
screen of a news report somewhere in my computer
about an interview with Hot Toys's CEO regarding
Batmobile. Thats why it took them so long for
production. Cheers

Well, if that's true Riko, I'm not paying for a flight to go to Toy Hunters in HK, Vodoun! I'm sure there'll be some dealer in HK that will buy from Toy Hunters and put them the bay!
