Leo emailed me earlier..Tumbler on its way! Hopefully Stevie Wonder will be manning the customs desk when that monster rolls through...Either that or he's marked the declared value £20.00 gift!

It's been over 24 hours and I'm still in that "holy mother of frak, it's big" state. I'm 6'4 but I feel small next to it. It needs like a TV stand to display it. How are people displaying this mother?

any suggestions? I looked at the shipping carton and it was caused by rubbing on the styrofoam. This part wasnt protected and was to tight I guess. The carton has a slight black mark and the foam looks rubbed so it was just poor packing or the paint wasnt dry enough.

how does hot toys handle returns or replacements? This thing is to massive to ship back and forth.

PS This is the top roof

Think it could be sanded and painted or would matching the color be difficult?
Ive never touched anything up before. Plus I dont know if the part is glued down I dont want to break it.

Ouch!! :horror

I have no clue as how to fix it. I would contact whoever you bought it from and see about a replacement. you would think it should've been atleast covered in that thin packing paper.

Damn, that doesn't look good. I guess you could pretend its deliberate wear&tear. The batmobile would surely have scratches and scrapes all over it.
Still, I hope mine doesn't have that.

I will try to get a replacement or a replacement part. This thing is just so massive it isnt feasable to ship.

I dont understand why they didnt cover it in paper or something. It had areas right against styrofoam and im sure they didnt let it sit to long to dry once it got painted.

Im sure others will have some problems hopefully not that noticeable.

Where did you order it from? Youd think something of that expense would be better packaged! Hot toys isnt impressing me lately! Good luck getting that replacement!

I noticed the SAME thing on mine bud...I just opend it. However when I ran my finger accross the the surface it went away....yours seems to be more of an extream case. If you know anyone with an airbrush.....flat black is a VERY SIMPLE fix.

Chris

you might want to try just rubbing it with your finger and see if it rubs off :(
