Yeah, I love how he has caught the eyes, and makeup while the eyes look right at you in the first. Can still see the deep eye sockets in the second pic. Love it.

That one looks like its right out of the movie, fantastic work.

Thanks for doing that Maulfan. Well I guess it looks like I wont be posing him like that. And how common is it for the suit to tear?

It's not exact, but I always loved that shot in the movie, so I tried replicating it for a project that never came to be.

The suit has lots of give to it, its thin but, seems to be quite sturdy..the joints have enough slack on them to be posed a bit to the extreme with no worry but, i would not keep it that way for long...its too early to tell if this figure will hold up or not..i think like any rubber, once this stuff starts to dry out its going to crack at some point in the future..i kinda wish now that i had bought a extra rubber suit on Ebay and just kept it as a spare and treated it with something to see the difference in how one would hold up to the other.

A lot of people are worrying about it tearing (including myself), but I can't recall anybody's actually tearing yet. The suit might be sturdier then we think. Still, I wouldn't risk it.

My opinion, careful posing for pictures, the suit is quite sturdy, however, for longterm shelf display, I'd got with poses where you can tell you're not stressing it. Better to go with a simple pose and have a beautiful figure to enjoy for a long time than to go for a dynamic awe-inspiring pose that tears the piece apart and leaves you with nothing after a year or two.

My still-in-progress Batman. :)

What do I mean with still-in-progress is that:

The belt and the boots are on their way, but still searching for the armor/gauntlets for him. And this is nearly impossible to find them! :monkey2

Building him piece-by-piece, huh? Might be the cheapest way to go, given the current crazy prices for this mofo complete, but would seem frustrating. Are you planning on getting all of his accessories/extra hands, too?

Great idea but yes, the gauntlets are IMPOSSIBLE to find!! I've been trying for weeks for a custom Ra's Al Ghul figure... but no luck so far... let me know if you find an extra pair!

If I may. I would still check out the trade/buy/sell section here & ebay too. I found the mangler (sp) surfing but it's from Ebay.co.uk:

item # 250395350856

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...50856&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_fvi=1&_rdc=1

:peace

Thanks, yeah missed out a couple of times in the trade section on these forums, and yeah the mangler is quite easy to find on ebay, but the plain pair of gauntlets is proving quite difficult... oh well, may think about casting them myself from my OC Batman if I can't find them...:naughty

Thanks guys for your comments.

@TheTerminator. No, it's the custom capes from buddy-lee! I love it too and ordered also one for the TDK version.

@karamazov80: yeah, it's not so expensive as if i would buy him from ebay, but the waiting time is really horrible ^^. I have some accessories, but as for the hands, I think I'll just buy one pair. No need to have them all.

@intothevoid: Ok, I'll try to let you know. ;)

@shockwave: I have such an armor, and if i don't find any other armor soon, I think I'll buy another one and just break the "addon" to have it as a normal armor for him.

Oh damn! Is he still making them for people? Was it hard replacing the cape on the original Bats?

Yeah, he's doing still some, just ask him. As for the replacing, I don't know. I've bought the rubber suit alone and the clips were off, so for me it was quit easy. :D

Yeah it is pretty nerve wracking getting the clips out. If you're very careful and take your time you should be able to get them out without breaking. If you have something thin you can kind of pop them out from inside the suit.
