The Hot Toys capes are pretty ____ty.

Start doing headswaps and completely swap out your Jokers though and I'll disown ya!

Scraps plans for all Adam's heads and Kato clothing

Yeah I don't like the sit of the stock capes particularly on the shoulders. Haven't been majorly bothered by it but said 'sure feckit' when it appeared Lforigno was running out.

On my OC I didn't like the cape that much at 1st, though now i've got it looking pretty good if I do say so myself. I like to think it's not that bad, which helps as i'm pretty set on keeping him stock and doing mods to my original Begins costume figure, then displaying both or even selling my OC if the modded version is significantly better. I suppose if any batman figure warrants modifying it's the original begins suit!

*books flight to Ireland for some good ol' oldschool slaughter-bombing*

yeh, I hear ya, it's the breaking of the cape clips that puts me off for the most part. But I've found a pose I'm happy with, cape looks great and it's just not worth the extra expense. I picked up Lforigno's Vader cape, because I was never happy with the stock version, but OC Bats I'm fine with. BTW Platty, I read someplace that the BB clips don't need to be broken to be removed?

HELP !!

Guys can you help me out here. I was re posing my OC Batman and somehow the left leg seemed very loose. I removed the boot off and realised that at the knee joint its had a clean break. Dunno how the hell this has happened but I want to sort it. Its one of the most expensive figures i've bought and I need to repair it ! How shall I tackle this ?

Please help !!!

Edit, here are some pics:

Classic HT knee joint break. If it were me, well personally i'd carefully superglue it, retaining the articulation, and be careful posing it in the future. In fact i'd pretty much just leave his legs in a static, standing straight pose. It sucks man this is a bad figure for it to happen on as for a fix you would have to get to the body, I think.

No you don't need to replace the whole body.
just the knee joint. Either you find someone who's willing to sell you a broken body and take parts from it either you buy one.
Hot toys knee joints are all the same.

Hot toys first figures were sold as kits, so you were supposed to assemble the bodies.
Wich make it easy to remove the joints at the elbow and knee.
Now the bodies ar a bit tougher to disassemble but it the same method.
So what i would advise is to remove the the pant suit or put it up over the knee as far as you can and put the leg in very hot water so the pastic will be more soft and then remove the knee.
Then you can replace with the new knee joint you have.

Still wonder why Hot TOys is not selling spare parts like these.
Stupid company not very customer friendly.
