I'd already done what I wanted to do but is the sellotape trick something you swear by? Does it work?

Yes. It's what I use on the clothes but if there's something a fine soft brush can't take off on the rubber, I use the sellotape.

Brush the sellotape around your finger on your clothes to take the extreme stickiness off so it doesn't pull on the rubber. Yet it's sticky enough to pull the fibers off.

Not the neck, but you have to break the cape tabs to change the cape. The cape clips positioning helps a lot in making the neck look better. The unmodded cape clips are way off. Its placed too much away from the neck. I think by placing the clips where its supposed to be is what gives that impression of a better neck. Its a simple mod replacing the cape clips and changing the cape but its makes a big difference.

Here's another pic :)

I jumped on the replacement cape bandwagon yesterday. It seemed lforigno was running out so I had to stop putting that off. His capes do look better. I'd like to have a definitive Batman to put next to the Tumbler when I can finally display it.

a-dev? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

IIII'MMMMM SSORRYYYYYY! The cape mod - way I see that one is its not much more a stretch than adding Cyberdyne gear to a T-800. Its the longest running mod to a HT batman figure isn't it? Pretty sure it pre-dates all the "replace absolutely everything on the HT Joker" madness. And I think even Vodoun did it if memory serves.

Please forgive me

I'm gonna come from the 'dark side' and say :clap:yess:

There's nothing wrong with doing mods if it makes the figure better looking/more accurate to your eyes

:lol Just one idealised perfect Batman. Whats the harm. How do people beef out his costume? That looks pretty nice too.

Good question - something to do with stuffing cotton buds into him. I need to do that too sometime. Thrustmaster is your man - PM him ;)

I'm certain the answer you seek is in the custom subforum. :wink1:

The Hot Toys capes are pretty ____ty.

Start doing headswaps and completely swap out your Jokers though and I'll disown ya!

I'm sorry but its one rule for me and one rule for everyone else. Didn't you get the memo? :wink1: :)yess: for Batman Begins movie quote!)

Cotton buds. I'll give it a go. I was thinking of bubblewrap but they could make it look lumpy. Cotton buds would be more likely to assume the body shape.
