Hot Toys Avatar is official (Movie spoilers)

Hot Toys would be smart to milk this line. I'm sure they are fully aware of just how big and popular this film is, and that is an understatement. HT is known to devote the most attention to the more successful movies, and in that sense Avatar is that definition --Oscar nominations and all.

It could be either 3 possible options

1) Neytiri

2) Sarah Connor

3) Black Widow

Man, I really hope it's Neytiri!!!!

But... like you said, it could be Sarah Connor too...
I don't know about Black Widow... I think they might start off the line with a new Iron Man or something...

" We have a new female character and shes a good guy"


It could be Invisible Woman too. I know there was a rumor about her but i never knew where it came from. People just started talking about her randomly.

They also hinted at another surprise in the Inglourious Basterds line... so maybe they're making Shosanna instead of Landa...

But I still hope it's Neytiri!!

Well, if I'm not mistaken it was a sketch JC made of Neytiri that led to the whole design of the Na'vi, so in a way it might be fitting if they start with her...

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the first version we got:

Lot's of cool accessories and then they could transition into the more exposed joints of the other figures without that being the thing everyone notices on the very first figure.

I am so hoping it's Neytiri. Honestly she is the only one I am interested in right away. I'll get the others sooner or later, but Neytiri is a must for right now.

i think they will reveal Jake & Neytiri at same time. It makes sense. didnt sum1 post that on here before and say thats what hot toys was gonna do?. still havnt scene pics so it prob was a rumor

Silver Surfer said his friend saw pics of the prototype figures. They are Neytiri and Jake Na'vi. And he couldn't tell how big they were cause there was nothing to compare in the pic

A friend of mine with HT connections said he saw pics of the Avatar figures, the chick and Jake, and he said they look pretty good. I asked him to sneak me in some copies of the pics, but he is being super trustworthy about not showing them around.

That means they are close to a reveal, but probably trying to get as many bugs out of them as possible so they don't have to read 20 pages of us hating on them like the Big Chap.

So based on this , they are already taking pictures and probably ready to show something
