I mean I would think Sully in his Avatar form and Neytiri would be set in stone in terms of releases, with only the other characters subject to any debate.

They should release Selfridge and Grace first. Just like they did for Watchmen.
Based on previous HT polls,
I'm sure the first figure is already past the prototype stages and almost ready for production...
My guess is Quaritch will be the first one,
since they already have most of the parts for it, including the buck... they only need accessories and H.S.
If, we see Na'vi figures, it would most likely be Sully only...
and that's about it for this line unfortunately...

If that is only going to be it I'm going to be pretty pissed. Getting fed up with Hot Toys getting all these licences and realsing one, maybe two figures from that line (Except Salvation, Iron Man and Dark Knight)
e.g. Watchmen (hope they atleast do rorshach), Wolverine (Sabertooth would be good), Blade (nomach would also be good), Predator (more than Dutch and Pred 1 would be cool also)

No way Hot Toys does Avatar figures without doing the Na'vi, and Neytiri is a given. I say the only two absolutes would be Neytiri and Avatar Jake. If they did no Na'vi it would be like Hot Toys doing Terminator without the T-800, or Mars Attacks without any aliens.

we have eye witness reports (from Silent Surfer) That Jake Na'vi and Neytiri prototype had test shots taken. Unfortunately the guy who saw the photo, had never seen the movie so couldn't tell if they were accurate or what scale they were in.

I'm pretty sure Jake and Neytiri will look accurate enough. The scale is a big question mark but I doubt anyone will say they don't look like the characters.
Just give me that human Jake and everybody's happy.
If you look at the results of the earlier poll about which version of MJ should be next, you'll see that these polls are just a way of whipping up interest. Everything's been decided. "Bad" was tied for last in the MJ poll with just 11% of the vote.

Agreed! Jake isn't Na'vi at all. He is a human mind in an artificially grown Na'vi body called an Avatar...
I think it's because Neytiri is not only Jake's guide into Pandora and the world of the Na'vi, but also the viewer's guide. Through her, we as an audience get the most knowledge about Na'vi life and through her we are being convinced why Jake is willing to fight for the Na'vi.
