Plus these figures were supposed to be revealed late according to their 2010 catalogue/planning.

I was on about the messages on capitalism and excess in the movie.

The UK release also has a card slip that is the exact same as the sleeve.

I could see these being $200+ figures easily. Both the size and having each one hand painted with complex patterns from head to toe.

Its funny what movies grab you as far as collecting goes and which ones don't. The LOTR trilogy are may favorite films of all time, and yet I don't own any of the SSC figures or WETA statues. Just the Frodo PF, and that's it.

Other movies like Avatar and SW I can't wait to get certain collectibles from.

It's all about the quality of the figures, if they look great i don't care about the price. We really need some news.

Definitely. If HT somehow recreates the Na'vi (or gets very close) in 1/6 scale then I'll sell whatever I have to if necessary.

I feel no need to own figures from this film either. Really enjoyed the film, sci-fi/fantasy is obviously my thing, Cameron films are obviously my thing but figures from Avatar? Meh. But its also because I have to draw the line somewhere financially tbh. If I was rich not a single Hot Toys figure would pass me by no matter what it was from.

Some folks do have weird habbits of posting BS stories around here.

to be honest all i want hot toys to make from the film is the amp suit...i dont mind if its at a smaller scale ...
