ht's will have visible articulations(always an eyesore to me). or it wont, which means the rubber skin will tear at some point. i'll stick with the statue in neytiri's case.

The statue looks great but i do not see any skin texture, it looks a bit to smooth. I think the HT figures will look more detailed in that respect.

I keep saying it over and over... The figs well hit right around the rerelease of the extened dvd bluray in Dec... I for one dont mind Hottoys can take has much time as they like...

Yea but how come when a new movie comes out the figure is on preview and ready to ship within months. This movie has been out for along time and thier still working on it ? The preds seem to be pumping out quickly.

I've noticed that too.The least they could do is show a prototype or a sketch or something to tide us over

Other figures are either basically plain humans, are things they already did in the past (Terminators), etc. The Na'vi, on the other hand, are completely different from anything they have tried before. I imagine that figuring out how to let them keep their balance with those long spindly bodies is a giant headache, and then there's figuring out the scale and cost, what extra's to include, rubber or jointed bodies....

Yea, they could release pics of the human figures (if they're doing them), but then you would have a riot because they haven't shown any Na'Vi yet. And let's face it: they're the stars of the show and what most people will be buying. It'd be a bit of a stupid move to reveal any humans before them.
