I have 4 rubber bodies to date... All have been displayed for months and none have signs of wear or cracked rubber anywhere... So I dont know maybe it takes longer or Hottoys fixed the newer bodys and its the older rubber ones that cracked?

Longer Edition of Avatar comes out Nov 16... It will be mine on Bluray... November 16 release date and $54.99... I hope its not limited edition...

$35.99 right now on Amazon. I'm hoping for a good deal on Black Friday though.

For those not following the Neytiri PF thread its just been confirmed that AVATAR is currently no longer listed as a license on Hot Toys' site.

Check it out for yourself: https://www.hottoys.com.hk/

Better jump back on the wait list for Sideshow Neytiri.

Interesting that I see Hot Toys url has been indicated as an attacked page so I am not going to that site.

as dead as the matrix license then. and my fingers are now getting numb for having been crossed all this long for rorschach.

Not wierd lately, its been that way for weeks at least.

Can't say I really care if Avatar figures don't happen but I wonder why Hot Toys have dropped it, if true.

Probably because there are too many people who can't say they really care if Avatar figures don't happen :lol

Or they probably can't get a good compromise of an accurate 1:6th Na'vi figure and price. An accurate to-scale Na'vi would be closer to 2 feet (around 20"-22") with the females being around 19" max. and then, you'll have the different accessories. So that'll cost a bundle.

Also, I don't think any of the Avatar merchandises were a big hit.

:goodpost::exactly: ..i think hot toys were a little over ambitious when they took on this license.

That's my assumption as well. The cost to develop that body alone puts the price well above the amount most collectors would be willing to spend on an action figure. I guess I'll be going with sideshow's version if I want an avatar collectible.

i think this is why they haven't been produced yet, but from what I read, the Na'vi are only 10ft, meaning they'd be about the size of a predator fig, like what the Berserker was supposed to be not 2 feet

as far as I know, the Avatar Merchandise sold pretty well especially the figures. I was lucky to find all the movie masters figs, especially Neytiri as she's the most rare with Warrior Jake next in line. the smaller 3-3/4" figures were even harder to find for me at least.

The Na'vi are presented as being 9-10 feet tall, which translates to 18-20 inches in 1/6. Just a bit bigger than the Predators...PS
