Akk was afraid of that. Only have the MK46 or Armoured Thanos as heavy figures ATM and not much else with them.I wouldn't, personally. Ikea no longer seems to list the weight limit, but I believe they used to say 8 pounds. A die-cast figure is probably around three pounds. Add stands and whatnot and you're getting pretty close to the limit.
I've never heard of a diecast figure causing the glass to break, but I've definitely seen enough broken detolfs (usually due to statues, but sometimes for no apparent reason st all) that I choose to play it very safe.

Don't want the iron man/warmachine/Spiderman combo on bottom of the case as prefer the viewing angle of the upper shelves.
Unsure of the cost but maybe would a reinforced glass shelf be a option ?. I'm in the UK and all I've seen on eBay here is acrylic and they got a low weight limit apparently.
Getting worried about Thanos on his own on a shelf now too due to weight.
Been out of the collection loop for to long. To know all this unfortunately but highly appreciate the comments back. Many thanks.
Also by chance and because I'm not home for a few days, does anyone know the measurements for the glass's shelf itself in a Detolf.
