Let?s also not forget Don Cheadle is about 5? 8? so the person in the armor isn?t a big dude like Hemsworth at 6?5?

Yes, now that you mention it I do think I remember similar complaints about mk 46 being too skinny. I have the 46 and I don?t think it is too skinny in the waist at all.

As as far as this Iron Patriot is concerned it does seem like he should be pretty large. I?m not sure if you have seen this picture already but he does look like a huge figure in this guy?s hands ...

yep, production should stick to that size. head/neck line could be solved by just moving it a little forward and down(?). although i can see don cheadle having a bit of a long neck lol

That guy could be a short Asian.

Yes there is no way to know the size of the person holding the Iron Patriot but if you look at pictures of him in the displays he looks pretty large relative to other figures as well ...

not on my list but to me, this EG IP is way more beefed up. i would think the lower half has the correct proportions for a man in a suit and the upper body is just bulked up (shoulders and torso armor) which messes with our perceived proportion. if you drew a line from the arms to the shoulders, ignoring the shoulder pads, shoulder height seems correct in relation to the chest. what does bother me with this though is the neckline and head sitting a little too high. it needs to be a little lower, a bit like the hulkbuster (only a bit) since this is like a mini WM "thanos-buster".

I feel like he sits a little higher up but eh. His elbows definitely end in the bicep region of the suit tho. No way it makes it to the suit elbows. Which kinda makes bending the arms weird lol. Now that I think about it I have no clue would it work lol

Perhaps this suit was made for Rhodes to use as a battle vehicle, rather than a battle suit. Only reason it's in the shape of a human (head, torso, appendages) is to keep in line the 'man in a can' style of armor. This could of easily been an airborne vehicle (i.e. fighter jet) that he could've been inside of, but it's still Rhodey. He needs to look like War Machine, if you get what I mean.

yep, that's the head/neck issue right there. would be perfect if they sunk him a little lower but i guess it won't work for a good cinematic experience if he's talking to dying Stark kinda hidden ... oh well, it's a figure and we can just always imagine it works regardless or just say it's a mini-buster and all the limbs are robotic extensions.

Thata what it looks like, his arms are on his sides and the suit arms are completely mechanical

Mid section is a little small for that. He'd be so cramped lol. Look at the picture i posted. He would in no way be comfortable with his arms stuck by his sides bunched into there. Unless you mean they are in front of him. Which i guess the lower chest may have enough depth. But certainly they cant be straight down. It being in the arm slots seem like it would be more comfortable. Hmm at least the hulkbuster had some wiggle room for the pilot

New concept art from "art of Endgame" I'm assuming.

Now we know where those twin missile launchers came from lol. Too bad they were never used in the film.

The figure is missing those leg missle launchers unfortunately. I remember the original Iron Studios statue that was first on display had them but were removed (along with the rest of the armaments) for a toned down look for release. Was hoping HT would include them

This figure has really grown on me. I have a feeling come August next year once all my other Endgame figures are paid off I?ll be picking this up. Still on the fence with Rescue but so far she is a pass.

I hear you on this figure Rbeato, it is growing on me also. I have the distinct feeling that after I see some photos and videos of this figure I will order it.

However, as far as Rescue is concerned I put my pre-order in a couple of months ago with TimeWalker (they were great to work with btw). I am really excited for this figure bk it has a very distinctive look compared to the other armors.
