Hot Toys - Batman 1966 Live-action TV Series - Batmobile

The interest is there. People have said on this thread that there is not enough interest in the 66 batmobile for hot toys to make it and also sighting poor sales on West and Ward. Many did not buy because they were waiting for the batmobile. If hot toys would have released it and or Romero Joker also sales would have changed big time. Check out the Romero Joker thread. Many who did not get the dynamic duo will be looking for them now. If hot toys would have made an Arkham Joker to go with bats, arkham bats would have sold better also. Hot Toys only has themselves to blame on both imo.

Agreed. I'm a huge Batman fan...will buy different incarnations of that character until the day I die! But I certainly skipped Arkham Bats because I didn't want a stand alone Batman. Had they announced Joker instead of just teasing it, I would have picked up Batman.

I got Keaton Bats and both Nicholson Jokers...am I really a Joker fan...

I am such a batman freak I did buy arkham bats. Really disappointed they did not do the Joker. That would have been an amazing 2 pack exclusive. So many cool characters to do from that line. You need a joker to go with bats for sure. Batman vs Superman was a different situation. Those two sold out because mos was made to go with him. Can't have a standalone character ie Tonto lol.

I love the '66 Batman and Robin figures and will pick up Joker, Catwoman, and whoever else they make, but the car was my big want for the line. Skipped the Arkham City Batman? Wow !
I would find it so hard to resist. For one, it's a GREAt incarnation and is pretty much the classic design in a practical way. It's my favorite version right after the Animated series.

I kinda think the same way. I actually prefer the route they are taking now with the 1966 line. By producing more of the figures first, collectors will garner more interest and will eventually increase the demand for the Batmobile.

I think if they had produced the Batmobile after the release of batman and robin and it created a revenue loss it might have killed the line completely and we would never get a chance of seeing other figures from the line.

Like I said a couple of days ago; find another 1/6 scale Hot Toys vehicle to buy at a great price until the Batmobile is made...(IF)

I found the Hot Toys: Tron Legacy Light Cycle on the E-Bay for $300.00 and $15.00 shipping!!!

I'm just waiting for a Delorian for under $500.00 and it's mine!!!

Don't loose no sleep over it...

If it didn't get made; at least you have the other vehicles you might have passed up...

Great post. I have too much emotional attachment to the show and the line. It would be a void that could not be filled for me. Only thing that helps is the 89 batmobile, and that does not help much mind you. I want steak, not a salad dammit.
