I could see that happening, Joker's more standard to make, they might figure no '89 Joker being the more popular figure like Ledger Joker was to TDK, and they may need to get the Jack portraits done and out of the way quick in order to get approvals.

This may have already been said but i figure they will release the Joker first then Batman a few months after.

If so that sounds damn fine to me. As for a Wayne sculpt? I'd say not. I'm just not feeling this line expand in similar fashion to their TDK stuff. This may be a one time for each character.

As varied as Jack's look got in the movie, I don't know if there's enough following to support more than one figure of the Joker.

I forsee 1 figure with 2 portraits and alternate clothing as there was a main look with just a couple pieces changing out.

The only real significant variant would be the mime look and I'm not sure HT'd go there.

As varied as Jack's look got in the movie, I don't know if there's enough following to support more than one figure of the Joker.

I forsee 1 figure with 2 portraits and alternate clothing as there was a main look with just a couple pieces changing out.

I can see three figures that would be worth buying.

Batman, Joker (parade outfit) and the Joker (mime.)

I think the mime look is different enough to warrant a figure.

I much prefer the batsuit from Returns but I'm still gonna be all over this when it comes out

I hate the mime outfit. It always annoyed me how his eyes and lips are done up. How many options are there exactly? 9 not including Jack Napier and the "mano y mano" ganster look when he's on television?

(Joker with his bleached suit that he wore at Axis Chemicals. It's grungy like TDK Joker with chemical spots and I believe his gloves are damaged and burned.)

Options 5 and 8 are pretty similar. The only change I can see is the tie.

1,6,7 and 9 are pretty much the same with minor differences (gloves, tie, beret etc. disregarding the suit number 1 is wearing under that trenchcoat)

2,3 and 4 are unique.

I'm interested in looks 3, 7, and 9 and maybe an extra dirty trenchcoat to pull off 1. I love the mob scene look with the flesh makeup, he looks really intimidating and scary there. If you have that, the hat and flesh colored makeup could be used for a regular Joker (1 and 9) and Museum Joker (7) respectively.

The regular one would of course be main. With an extra beret accessory so you can have a museum look. The unique suit could be the mob version with the unique tie and pinstriped coat and of course the buzzer hand.

Here's what I think they'll do.

This as the main outfit and accessories.

Include this portrait, hat, shirt and tie.

And that be it. The other looks are such subtle variations of this setup. The only real difference would be the teal shirt, and if they did it, probably go with the bow tie from Axis.

While I'm really bummed that Reeve Superman wasnt shown -this announcement is enought to tide me over. Doesn't matter of Bats or Joker come out first -I'm gonna get them both.

I've often wondered that too... if it was me, i'd give Jack a complementary figure just to see his reaction to the Hot Toys brilliance they will do with his likeness.

I'd imagine either way Jack will be getting a Joker figure or two ... he's always been very proud of his work as the Joker... i'm sure he'd find room in his office for one.

This is probably my favorite look from the film or something very similar to it with the full trench coat. I would like a HS that has him smiling and one that is more menacing like this....

I'm down for one Joker from the film and of course the Batman. I will say this, the one thing I can agree most with is DiFabio's idea for the Batman box that he posted awhile back. That was you wasn't it man? The one that said something about it being like an armor closet?

I think they should keep this line short and sweet and give us the Batman, Joker, Catwoman, Penguin and be done. I could even pass on a Penguin...JUST GIVE US CATWOMAN TOO!

Keep it small, significant, and make them beautiful collection pieces with box designs that just make you want to leave them on your shelf they look so nice.

Perfect timing for this line as we'll be waiting awhile for the next Nolan Batman figures to show up.

Yep, that was me. Have the packaging/box look like the armor suit vault with foam inserts on the "door" flap for the accessories and hands, just like in the film.
