The fight reminded me of something from the Arkham games by Rocksteady, it looked great.

I'm most excited about Gal and I loved her line in the trailer. I hope she has a pretty beefy role. It looks like we will at least have her in 4 key scenes or so.

Eh, it kind of looks like it's centered on both pretty evenly to me.

They are essentially introducing Batman, but they also have to deal with the fallout of MoS. One may end up getting slightly more screen time than the other though. It's not like going into the film production process they prorate the screen time between the two characters and say "Ok, each one is going to get EXACTLY 1 hour 15 minutes and 30 seconds of screen time", for instance. :lol

Complaining about who gets more screen time is another testament to how these film makers simply can't win when it comes to pleasing all fans. First, people want to see a Batman and Superman combined film. Then when fans can't complain about that because the film comes to fruition, they start complaining about which character gets more screen time.

Regarding the trailer, looks like we see our first Clark Kent/Superman - Lois romance scene at 1:24.

yes but whole trailer is from Batman's side and Superman seems as villain.(for unknown eye,I believe there are tons of people who has no idea what's happening and judges just by trailer) same trailer could be done from Supes' side too. its not about screen time. I believe both characters will have enough screen time, to enjoy them . can't wait to this romance scene between Kent - Lois :clap:clap:clap:clap

I was against Ben at first, but his Batman, from day one of the pic reveal, had potential... and now I know he's going to be good. That warehouse scene was the single greatest fight I've ever seen, featuring a live action Batman. And it was against GOONS! And it was a small part of a TRAILER! Gaaaah!

It's like they channeled the animated series in real life, lol. I loved Nolan's Batman, but none of his fight scenes were even remotely that nerdgasmic.

Exactly my immediate sentiments as well after seeing that scene.

Batfleck kicked some major arse in that scene in the beginning of the trailer. He was slamming those guys so hard, I was waiting to see him give a suplex or something one of them. :lol I guess in order to make it look like this Batman at least has a slight chance against Supes, they have to make it seem like he can do some damage. I loved Nolan's take on Batman as well, but none of his fight scenes with him delivering the beating were anywhere near as brutal as that was.

And just to think that this is intended to be a Batman that's no longer in his prime, and he's still delivering beat downs like that.

That's because from Batman's perspective, Supes IS a villain. To him, and to many others. This interpretation of Supes is not like the 78 version (which I still love) where a guy (technically extra-terrestrial) with his strength, abilities and powers just shows up, thwarts a few robberies and nobody really thinks anything of it, doesn't ask too many questions and simply go about their business without addressing the obvious elephant in the room, so to speak. It's a more realistic take in the sense that there's going to be a lot of questions and a lot of repercussions, as I'm sure you know. Despite him in MoS saving the human race from genocide, a lot of people (Batman included) are apparently holding him responsible for the damage that Zod caused, being that someone has to answer for it. A knee jerk reaction, basically. There's going to be a lot of individuals and different factions that view Supes differently. Some will fear him. Some see him as a God. Some see him as a savior. Some see him as a threat, etc. There's still a lot of questions about him that need to be answered that I'm confident will still give him plenty of screen time.

Yeah and there's nothing wrong with that. I even still prefer those films for it, but not a single batfan can say Nolan's fight scenes were anywhere near that good. It felt like parts of his scenes were always being cut off and there was a lot of twisting and turning.

That being said, I knew from the moment I rewatched Batman Begins that fight scenes weren't Nolan's strong-suit. And his movies were still damn good.

Funnily enough, I loved the fight scenes in those films, especially the two vs Bane in TDKR. Definitely going to enjoy the more over the top scenes with Batfleck too though.

Nolan's Batman was just grounded in reality. This one is more comic booky.

It's kind of ironic because this version of Supes to me sort of feels like Nolan's TDK Batman (makes sense being that he was a major producer for MoS) in which he's more grounded in reality, but the Batman they're introducing into this universe has more of a comic book feel, as you mentioned.

As much as I liked TDK Nolan Batman films, it seemed like Batman's favorite go to fight maneuver was the double axe handle from up high or just pounding downward with his fists in general.

Those are the ones I didn't like as much. Wasn't thrilled with the party crasher fight in TDK either. The construction site battle at the end of TDK was good and the Ra's al Ghul fights were the best, in my honest opinion.

But, like I said, I didn't watch those films for the fight scenes. Would be like watching porn for the story.

The new trailer is simply superb, and as Heath Ledger's Joker once said - "now, there's a Batman!"

I feel Batman may be the star of this movie, I think Superman will take the driving seat in the JL movie. I now desperately want to see a Batfleck solo film (or three), the Wonder Woman film and more Superman solo films a.s.a.p. :yess:

Yeah that's true. Still no undies on Bats though :lol

Really? Those were my favourites. TDK ones were more about sheer intensity than real action, which I did like actually. Batman taking on like 80 guys in the Nolan universe wouldn't have worked quite as well :lol

funnily enough i think the two biggest issues casting wise people have had with this film [ben and gal] will probably end up being the best two things about this movie.

This is why I always reserve my final judgment about a casting choice until I actually see the actor in the role in the film.

Her role is pretty significant in the movie and story, I don't think you'll be disappointed in regards to the Gadot/Wonder Woman/Diana screen time. She's a key player in the second and third act.

Man, I've got to say, the more collectibles that get revealed for this movie, the more annoyed I get. Mezco can do a heat vision head, DCC can do a heat vision head, even Mattel did a heat vision head for their SDCC two-pack last year, so, why is it that the $200+ figure, with practically no accessories, can't come with one? People have been clamoring for it since MoS, so, it is a disappointment.
