I don’t know how to feel about this…gonna take some time getting used to.

Nonetheless, can’t wait for this. Never played the game but grew attached to him through the amazing CGI trailers I’d watched obsessively over the years.

Those CGI trailers are probably are some of the greatest of all time.

Just reminded me of the DC Universe online CGI trailer, another GOAT in the category.

I'm guessing his height, along with that very tall base, means this guy is not fitting in a detolf if you use the stand. A normal stand would be a big plus here.

You'd have to have Malgus on one shelf and the stand on the shelf next to him.

I doubt it'll fit in a Detolf with the stand so I'm assuming a lot of people won't be using it. I think these podium stands are cool for stand-alone figures but I like to display my figures in logical groups together so I've always appreciated the relative continuity of the regular old stands...

"Canon" wise he should actually be even bigger than that but height can be pretty wonky between the CG trailers and in-game. I actually much prefer the height Hot Toys went with. He would look like a 1/4 scaled figure if they actually made him this big next to Vader.

Now that’s an Emperor. I would not wanna fight him if I were a Jedi, or even another Sith.

He’s basically the size of a Warhammer 40k Space Marine without their armour.

The design for this guy was always what I thought Vader would look like if Palps did not purposefully give him a subpar suit to cripple him even more. Cool design but never played the game so pass for me, 2024 racked up a brutal preorder queue for me so 2025 must offer something truly special to get me to bite *cought* darkside artisan Anakin *cough*.

As you said, CG and in game are wonky, and I agree. Based off what my eyes saw, I assumed at most he’d be around vaders height:

At 7’2”, the girl would have to be around 6’3”

I know she’s in the foreground, but again, unless she’s above 6’, foreground perspective wouldn’t have her close to his shoulders…

I would swear they did him much bigger in the late expansions. From what I remember, from the original flashpoint The False Emperor, ingame he wasn't anywhere near that size.

I rather like the look of at least the upper part of the stand and would much rather have that by itself. It seems like it's on a ball joint, so I hope it comes apart easily. If I have to use a hacksaw and cut some wires, I will. I won't be happy, but I'll do it, because there's no way I'm using that thing as pictured.

That is from the expansion. They made him much taller.
