I was really hoping for a plastic MMS of the Iron Patriot and Mk47 armor... So I don't even care to see what the price on this one is. Besides, the diecast thing won't match up with what my other figs are made of, and it would drive me crazy if I had one diecast MMS figure but all the others were plastic MMS. I WANT UNIFORMITY!

Until we know how much of these figures are metal and quality of that metal I'm not laying out a dime. Wait for in hand reviews.

I would pay 500+ for a 1/4 scale mostly die cast (90% plus) Mark 3 or T800 for example.

Some new photos of mark 42, looks like it will come with mask/face head sculpt

I completely agree. I'm cautiously optimistic - I figured the plastic figures would be reach $300.00 sooner rather than later, and if the die cast is an improvement over the plastic then we might be better off. Not sure how about the whole "contains die cast material" thing. Maybe the entire figure is die cast except the panties - which are plastic and will still fade after a few years :lol Regardless, I'm really curious about posability and worried about paint chipping, particularly around the shoulders and hips.

Also, judging from the Sideshow pics it looks like the repulsor pose will be limited. Not sure why since they seemed to have figured it out for the Mech Test 2.0 figure :huh

Edit: In addition to having limited wrist articulation, IP also looks to have no abdominal articulation. It all kinda seems like a step backward for this die cast line.

What he said. I love the Tamashii 3PO. If it was like that then I would be all in.

I want to know what parts are metal, and how are they going to handle the paint apps. Look at some peoples Cpt Shields.

The one on stand looks like mms version? And the cream/yellow colour looks like die cast as looks like less to no articulation what you guys think

I cant attach the pic it relates to but it was the one seen earlier with the 3 armours in early stages

I think it looks great but I'd like to see a plastic MMS IP version next to it for comparison. Is the diecast material really worth the extra bucks and not to mention the non-existing accessories?

the diecast looks too much like a "toy" instead of a miniature Movie prop, like all of their other MMS's imo... i wanna see more pictures or it displayed before purchase, grrrrr this is so dissapointing, at least the price point isn't too much more.

Unless we're grasping at straws, I agree. There seems to be articulation in the abdomen on the gray one. Lets hope it is.
