Hot Toys Donut Man?

Oh the Hot Toys main page https://www.hottoys.com.hk/index.php there's all these weird new tabs created. Like Donut Man, I kill you later Salvation, etc.

My friend and I were thinking about how Donut Man may be a tease to Iron Man 2 merchandise.

First thing my friend thought of when he said the tab was the production photos of Stark sitting on the famous giant donut eating a box of donuts in what looked like a new armor.

After "careful" inspection, the fonts used for Donut Man is the same as ones used for IronMan.

before realizing it was in the Marvel section, i thought donut man was referring to the simpson's treehouse of horror episode where the lard man came to life after homer took his donut

Definitely Iron Man...but it's no big surprise HT would make more IM figures after the success of the MkI, II, and III.

Exactly.
HT is trying to make it look like the martians have taken over the web site and are substituting their own versions in place of the official versions.
The donut connection is a coincidence theyre playing off of nothing more.

The font is only Iron Man because the Mars Attacks are 'taking over' HT product pics. The fact that it has a box stating 'The Goodfather' does not mean that HT are making a brilliant dad figure.

Bingo. There is no doubt that HT will make Iron Man 2 figures especially since we'll have War Machine and confirmation that Stark will wear some sort of modified Iron Man suit as well not to mention Whiplash in final form which will be much easier to get done than Iron Monger but the Donut behind the pic says "Donut World" which is the same title as the one from Mars Attacks. Considering how Favreau just posted to his Twitter that he is still finishing some shots on the film itself I would say we are at least six months from any HT announcement on that front.

remember that Iron Man 2 has a scene at a Donut place as well...

So, this might also be HT teasing us...
I really hope it's Mars Attack though, but I don't want to get too excited yet...

I actually agree with the whole mars attacks taking over the site thing more now. Nice. Can't wait to see some pics. IM2 doesn't come till next year so it might be too early for HT to announce anything for that.

O.K. guys, since Darklord Dave(My cousin) dont want to say ^^^^,my very reliable source told me that it is in fact the Mars Attack licence that Hot Toys Acquired...Seems even the guys at Sideshow are in the Known about this...so....
