He has the steel pipe! That simple accessory I've always wanted.

A backdrop would be great for this. A T-800 vs T1000 Dio

That's going straight to the T-1000 (granted I find a regular grasping hand suitable for it to hold).

Man, imagine a diorama with the T-800 crawling on the steel grating and the T-1000 looking intently about to skewer him.

Any chance of a T 1000 DX? Or should I try for the original?

Looked more like a piece of edged square bar.

And for those that are complaining about this should have been the DX10.

I can see where people can be upset, but IMO, this is one film ICON that deserves two spots in the DX line. The two looks are different enough, And the amount of engineering that had to go into the BD version, packing the two together would have been much more than just a $300 Luke price IMO.

Im glad they went this route, because they can allow each release to shine on its own.

REALLY stoked for this guys. More so than I have been with any other release I think...Maybe more than Luke even. This borders on GRAIL. Seriously.

This!! :exactly:

Regardless of missing the gas grenade launcher it's hard for me to find anything to complain about. I think the figure brilliant. I haven't been this excited for an HT figure in a long time.

WOW!!!! First Coulson and now battle damage T-800 (FINALLY) I can hardly contain myself...this is why I love the spirit of competition...Lets all thank Enterbay for forcing Hot Toys to step their game up...

Surely Hot Toys had this in development for more than a year . . .

They don't just will these figures on a whim when the specs/pics are shown, there's development and concepts and prototypes before they get to this stage.

True, but had enterbay not shown their proto and announcement, HT might separate this into 2 releases:lol

Re: Hot Toys - DX - T2: T-800 (Battle-Damaged Version) 1/6-scale Collectible Figure

Is the T-1000 head exclusive or is it just region specific, like the Jack Sparrow telescope ?

I thought the jack telescope was a Sideshow exclusive as well as being available in regions in Asia?

Of course it does...but do you not think that Hot Toys is trying to one up Enterbay by revealing this now? I believe so...

I'm very excited for this release and this is coming from someone who will own the first 2 verisons as well. I will now have all the multiple looks of this awesome character. :yess:

Re: Hot Toys - DX - T2: T-800 (Battle-Damaged Version) 1/6-scale Collectible Figure

Just about caught up on the thread. May have skimmed it though.

Seems this release resurrected the DX10 negativity. Way I see it is HT had not done a Cyberdyne version - we had with our COOmodels stuff - but HT hadn't. And the requirements of a Cyberdyne figure are different and too extensive to combine with the BD T-800. Perhaps they could have been combined with MMS117 and MMS117 should have been a DX - but then was DX even around back then?

Plus I think HT may have realised that battledamage put into the MMS117 sculpt was not going to look right (customs proved this IMO). So they needed a new clean base sculpt (I think I saw someone else make this point). And they have that with DX10.

I don't hold anything against HT here. Of course I'm a little biased considering I'll take anything and everything from Terminator.
