Last Crusade is a brilliant film...and my personal favourite Indy film. Largely due to the Ford/Connery thing.

It is a great film. Especially the scene where they are tied to the chair together!

"Son I have to tell you something"

"Dad, Don't get sentimental"

"The Floor's on fire...AND THE Chair!"

I love the first three movies with a passion.

Yeah. Or right before that when Elsa is whispering in Indys ear about their time together and Henry thinks she's talking to him and he responds. :lol

Regarding TLC, the complaints I heard were that they think its overly "sugar coated" in response to the dark overtones of TOD. While TOD is dark it also has some of the most cartoonish moments, like the hammer, or whatever it was, falling on a guards head, his response was quite Looney Toons. I think it even made a silly sound or something. Of course all of that is levity due to the dark nature but still. I like TOD but its my least watched so I can't remember it fully.

Someone even hated it so badly they ranked KOTCS above it!! :lol

Come on.:lol

There is still a chance that the reason for the delay is that HT had made changed to the sculpt.

If memory serves me right, the DX10 shown at the conventions last year was the prototype sculpt and we first found out about the change once the OMG pics came out.

That is correct sir, there is that possibility for sure and that would be nice, but even if it does not happen I'll be ok with what we have seen.

Come on indeed. :lol

As a kid, I used to own the 'book & record' sets of ROTLA & TOD - I can still hear the narration in my head to this day, because I had it memorized after a while! Every time you had turn the page you'd hear the bull whip crack - awesome stuff!! :lol

wish I still had them now.. :monkey2

Well that's the one thing we have not seen so I'm curious as well, I'm thinking its gunna be the battle damaged chest cover.

I think you're right so for the sake of this discussion I will go out on a limb and say it might be the chains and melted steel.

Now you guys got me thinking about it. I would love to see BD worn leathers on the outside of the box in a similar style to the DX10, along with "hasta la vista baby" on the inside cover.

Just glad were back on track with the DX 13 discussion, don't know how the Indiana Jones movies started taking over the thread - lol,

That's another possibility to compliment the DX10. I'm sure Skull had something similar in mind with torn leathers and exposed chest endo.

Either way I just hope there are no more delays with this figure. We've all been strung out way too long.

I think it's fair to say, we agree on some things at least. :lol

Yeah, sculpted hurts the realism but rooted still doesn't look right to me anyway. And futzing is enough of a pain without dealing with hair. :lecture

Yes, the original proto was all we ever saw of the DX10, even within the last few months before its release. Other in hand pics came out before OMG's, but yes we saw no new proto or received any hint of the resculpt until we saw the production piece. It was a complete surprise.

We could be in for a surprise again after these delays. HT might have been looking at EB's bd sculpt and decided they need to resculpt again.

This is what I'm thinking. The EB sculpt was well received.

It is quite good and accurate, but I really don't mind HT taking artistic license with the depth of the wounds so they look less like prosthetics. I really like how the proto looks now, with the exception of a few details, so if the changes are minimal, I'm fine with that.

I actually only bugged HT about the left hand, that it shouldn't have flesh and blood on it. I didn't get a response though.

I don't mind the depth, either; it shows there's supposed to be muscle there. As long as they get the mechanical details and the shapes of the wounds right, I'm happy.

Yes, that would be cool if they worked on the shape of the wounds and the exposed endo head details. As much as people don't like the depth of the chest wound, I like it and think it works better since the chest plate would be behind quite a thick area due to the pecs.

I agree with this. In theory if it was living tissue over the endo skeleton then based on Arnies build, that's a lot of muscle slapped on the T-800.
