i don't have a figure yet, and when i will, your posts about PERS mod will be far far away.
can you please say again why the mod is needed?
because without that i cannot understand the point and mechanism of it.
i took the eyes out and put them in on DX10 several times so i know the mechanics of the head, just cannot understand what exactly you did here except for changing the built-in short lever for the longer one.

:panic::panic::panic: My 2nd Arnie is now set up.

Fantastic set-up, real classy, Thats what most will be aiming for, both looks fully set-up, well done brotha, well done:clap

Got the Sideshow exclusive and the Alter Ego today- Alter Ego had it in an extra box, very well packed. And this is a very cool figure. There was some weird glue behind the sculpt that stuck to the neck, but it's fixed now:)

some quick crappy pics

Don't panic guys. If you do the mod and don't like it. It's easy to put back the control stick. Just snap it back into place along with the plate and screw the screws back in. I've done it many times already, but I prefer to leave the control stick off.

You don't have to do anything with the PERS. If the way it comes suits you, then go with it.

I just think I got more movement and better PERS positioning now by removing the control stick that's all.

I don't think the PERS were reaching it's full potential before, especially moving the eyes to the side. Of course it had horrible looking down movement as well.

Like I said nothing I did screwed up the figure, head, PERS, etc. If I want too. I I can easily snap the control stick back into place, retighten the screws and presto, it will be as If I didn't even touch it to begin with.

The PERS setup is that easy to mod or undue and put back in it's original form for this sculpt anyway.

But for now I like it better with the freer movement, without the control stick. But that's just me.

I think you quoted me on accident cause I didn't say anything about your mod man :wink1: Do what you must and have fun.

My wait-list for the EX just converted :D

I feel like mine might've been taken out of the box, but I'm not sure. A similar occurrence I had was with DX10, which had the chip and another part already in his head, and some other pieces seem like they've been handled before, but I purchased it really late during those times when one would pop up after being SOLD OUT for a day or two, so I figured it was one that was returned or something. Nevertheless, the flap on the box was partially ripped but I've seen that before. The cardboard outlining the figure and covering the hands had a crease on the top middle. Usually that happens when taking it out to see what's underneath, so I thought it was weird that it was creased already. And finally the T-1000 has some prints on it. Regardless, it is a really nice figure and I'm not going to bother exchanging it since it's EX.

Just curious, did anyone else have this issue?

Initial un-boxing pics up! More pics with poses coming soon...

Guyver those PERS looked rightly ****ed in some of your pics. Did you pull out the control block? Why?

Excellent, congrats. Looks superb. I actually haven't used the M-16 yet. Its nice but unless I have a 1:6 liquid nitrogen truck for him to kneel on I have no use for it. The teargas launcher on the other hand...

:exactly::exactly::goodpost: they need to hurry the F Up with making a tear gas launcher. One of the most memorable moments of T-2

Just got mine. The left leg seems to be a little shorter than the right making him lopsided when he stands. After a few minutes I was able to make him stand straight but as soon as I mess with the left leg even a little bit, he goes all lopsided again. Is there something wrong with the leg?

Here's a pic. Right leg on the right. Left on the left.

Does anybody have any suggestions or tips for what I can do? I removed the pants to check the joints and everything looks fine so I don't think anything has to be popped in or anything like that. Ankle pegs seems fine too but that is where you can really see the difference in height.

Hate to keep bumping my own posts but I'm really hoping someone can help me out here. Has anyone ever had a problem with any hot toys figure where one leg was longer/shorter than the other?

My wait-list for the EX just converted :D

My exclusive just converted after I got out of the Hobbit tonight. I waitlisted it on September 12th. I might've been cutting it pretty close this time. Perhaps the early December timing helped and someone had to forfeit their NRD to have some more Christmas cash on hand.

Damn, got an email that my EX wait list converts on monday, but I really shouldn't keep it... But I want to, but this is like the worst possible ****ing time for it to happen.
