Im not mad over a dolly though. Its just hilarious you're using that diatribe against the film as the justification of thinking not buying HT Maul, even though you're already extremely satisfied with SS Maul, because you used the word "superior" (1). Furthermore, your deliniation of the Maul's bike was "silly", probably stupid looking piece of plastic to your eyes also (2). The first and foremost, Solo was clearly a better film than TPM from your perspective, and it seems mechanical-legged chubby Maul would be a wiser investment than this piece of chunk (3)
(1) (2) (3) > cancel TPM Maul would be an excellent choice .
Im not trying to be a jerk here seriously. Im just trying to help to facilitate the progress of making executive decision much more smoothly .
Your fervent defence of the HT is simply blinding you to the reasons why I finally decided that I'd rather not bother with the DX17. It's not important, or really relevant, but I will elaborate for the record.
Firstly, ordering the scooter version was a silly choice because it ties the figure too much to The Phantom Menace. I like Maul's design, but I don't want a toy to specifically evoke the prequels.
I was right with my initial assessment a year ago:
Secondly, I didn't write that the Sideshow was 'superior'. I wrote that it was "superior looking". There's a difference. One is absolute, and the other refers only to appearance, rather than substance. A truly superior version would probably be the HT clothes and boots on the Sideshow figure.
Thirdly, rather than having more toys evoking the prequels, I'm happier to have the mechanical-legged, chubby, older Maul from the classic period as my second Maul. (As opposed to two from the PT and one from the classic).
That is all.
