The best HT fig is easily the DX13 imo, not much competion to be fair. My number 1 fig of the year is The Cowboy fig from iMINIme.

[ QUOTE=Jeff12burq;6420261]This is a subjective poll. There is no right or wrong answer.

Hulk is obviously some collectors favorite figure that they got this year, and there's nothing you can do or say to change that.

And for the record, I did not vote for Hulk. I voted Mark VII BD Version.[/QUOTE]

And that shows your obvious preference towards marvel over everything else. Subjective? Yes, you are right. But to say that You are surprised seeing hulk getting destroyed here is plain fanboysim. Nothing wrong with that. I love DC, I love batman. But I can not, for the life of me say that the QS001 is better than the DX13. What they (HT) accomplished with it is nothing short of amazing, just like Iron Monger before it (see, I like marvel when it's due)

I also have the Mark VII BD, btw. Great, over hyped, figure. Figure of the year material? Absolutely not. But then again, what do I know?

I'm not a fan of Hulk at all, I don't even have him in my collection. Cool figure but not for me.

I say that I'm surprised because I thought he was more popular.

On a side note, I do feel that had the Hulk been released more recently, like the DX13, there would be more hype for this figure right now and he would be getting more votes.

Furthermore, the Hulk pre-sold out on SS a couple of months before it was even was released in Hong Kong. So, there were a lot of collectors who liked what they saw.

But I guess we'll agree to disagree :lol :hi5:

Is the Man of Steel Superman even up for consideration? That would probably get my vote.

I'm struggling between the DX13 and the Man of Steel as my HT FOTY.

The DX13 has all the fireworks and excitement of a DX release but the MoS has a simple elegance to it.

Yeah, I didn't think he should be considered a 2013 figure because SS is supposed to ship him in Jan2014 according to their website.

I think it qualifies as it was released THIS YEAR- just most guys don't have him yet so he won't get much of a vote!

Most U.S guys still don't have MoS Supes, (myself included), so that's why. It's all 'bout 'merica.
SSC ships on January.

The MOS figure is a beautiful piece but has a major scale issue, its just to damn big to fit into any 1/6 scale collection nicely.

Yeah, suppose it'd be better for everyone to have Supes first before he could be voted FOTY. Strong contender for next year though! :lol

And it's just turned 2014 here in the UK, so Happy New Year everyone.

Ok, but the competition will be much tougher next year. Between the 1960's Batman figures and Captain Harlock I can't say I would still vote for it next year. Depending on how the final products turn out of course.

Those figures have already not made the list.

Good point about next year having some pretty stiff competition. 60s Batman figs, RoboCop, ED-209 and Captain Harlock will all be strong contenders. Gonna get my vote in early and go with ED-209!!! :yess: :D

They're not favourites for me (buying neither) but I can see the appeal to them. Especially the Bat figs. Will have a really strong nostalgic connection for a lot of collectors.

2. captain America
0. Maleficent
1. Look like Ant-man ??
4. Villain from the winter soldier ??

That will be my guess.
What u guys reckon??
