For HT 1/6th I'll give you the DX13, but for HT output in general the 1/4 Endo has the edge. But taking all figures I picked up in general, then the Tamashii Threepio is the win!

..of the non-Hot Toy figure releases, imho, the ZC World Charlie Chaplin (Rainman head sculpt) rocked!

I think this vote needs to be refined to "HT figure of the year for "$200 to $225" price range or "225 to $275 price range etc. or Best Value HT figure of 2013.

Example: Barney Ross is $160 - $180 approx loads of goods (thats a great value) and DX13 is a fantastic figure for $300+.

I personally had a problem dropping $300 on DX13. Great figure but the price was way to high IMO.

Just me 2 cents

So for the figures I am interested in: Best Value Barney Ross / Best Looking Figure DX13

Yeah, I just though overall. But you're right the higher priced figures have an edge.

DX-13 gets my vote, but runner-up goes to Hulk. Blah, blah it's not that intricate, blah, blah, no complex clothing, blah, blah. It's a figure in a scale that in previous years would never have been made. Not a big enough fan to pick one up but I thought they did a great job. People have to consider how difficult something is to manufacture a little as opposed to 'oh, it's not Iron Monger'.

The Hulk is my favourite figure of this year.

To the naked eye he seems like a simple figure, but the engineering is amazing - I love all the hidden articulation in the neck. HT received a lot of criticism for the cut shoulder joints, but it was a wise decision. In hand they don't seem noticeable and you can tweak them to a snug fit after posing the arms (which many photographers failed to do - leaving an ugly gap).

The sculpt is wonderful, expression spot on and the paint job is absolutely stunning! He also compliments and adds extra interest to any other figure you put next to him. He is so much fun to pose and has a real weight and sturdiness to him.

Yes, Hulk has few accessories - but in order to keep the price down, I really don't mind. Can you believe at the end of 2013 that the RRP $299 seems quite cheap for this figure - WOW!

DX13 T-800 should win in most polls and for good reason. Apart from the price, HT pulled out all stops to make this figure and the package of sorts, something very special. The same could be said for the DX11 Joker, but there's just something about this character and all the HT double dipping that feels 'played out' to me.

What another great year to be a 1/6 scale collector. We can all agree that Hot Toys and the fans are the real winners of 2013!

As posted in your other thread:

People will see your polls and vote if they want to. You do not need to post everyday in every thread that the polls are there, effectively forcing people to see it.

I appreciate your enthusiasm but it is not necessary when taken to extreme, you will get votes as and when people make them, please don't spam the forum with it.

Once you create a thread, just let it run, you don't need to keep bumping it or posting in others to remind people to vote.

I have posted this in your other thread too.

Thank you.

I don't have any of them but I'd say of that lot dx13. And that's who I voted for. T2 doesn't really resonate with me anymore even though I loved it as a child, I'm much more a fan of the first movie, but even so that figure looks stunning and it's such an amazing set. That with the dx10 would be a great set up.

See that is how it's done.

Just cause you like the Iron Man character doesn't make Iron Man the best figure of the list.

The execution of the overall package is what does. The detail of the outfit, the sculpting of the head and accessories, the paintwork, the options included. DX13 nailed all those.

^agreed, although I'm a Terminator obsessive that's incidental. DX13 is just really well done so I voted for him. I wouldn't have voted for a DX10 though.

I still put it ahead of the MMS sculpt personally but yeah its an unfortunate step below DX13 considering how close the two are in time.

Poor old Barney Ross, a big fat 0% :lol

HT should give us a more iconic Sly character like Lincoln Hawk from Over the Top. The best & only arm wrestling movie of all time.

I remember people bagging me when I said the DX10 looked like arse. :( Put it up against a good sculpt (ie DX13), and wa-hey.

Still, it doesn't look bad with the sunglasses.

Same could end up happening with the DX13 for all we know. When the DX10 came out it was the best sculpt we had at the scale. MMS beat it in some ways but there's was just no getting away from that frog-like face!
