So the pricing did start with a '1' for these guys Not too shabby, a nice kick off of the line for collectors.

Sideshow's NRD sucks balls though.

I get stung with customs on anything over about $US320 including shipping, 15% plus sorting fee and now they add a biosecurity fee. Happened just over once and it came to about $US100 more. Exchange rate was awesome once, and EMS over UPS pushed it over the limit and also had a 2 week delay too.

Its sad when I think $360 is a good price for 2 figures But I honestly thought Rocket would be $200ish on his own and Groot $300+ due to his size and one-off body. I'm really surprised by the price on these too. Sure its still not cheap, but its a lot better than I was expecting on these two.

I will say I was expecting Rocket to come with a few more accessories, but it looks like Star Lord will be the only one to have much in the way of that.

Me too. I thought I was going to have to just get Groot and that I would be paying $260+ for him so this is awesome! I do think that Rocket is overpriced...but not as overpriced as I thought he would be

Same, if they sell out before I get to see the film and I end up loving it, I'll be kicking myself for half a decade.

I'm going to cancel some other things to alleviate the Hot Toys pain.

I'm just watching the quantity. If it gets low I'll pull the trigger. Want to see what they have in store for us. I cancelled a couple iron man figures and i'll be canceling spidey as well. That makes me able to get the four I want

After reading this and other threads lately, I'm starting to think this forum need a complaining section. It's getting old reading figure threads with a ton of "you're crazy if you pay for this" and "it's everyone else's fault but mine that these toys are expensive" comments.

I think I'm the only one who isn't particularly looking forward to a Star Lord figure. I want me some Gamora. Probably I'll dig Star Lord once I see the movie though.

Definitely getting the set just for the alt headsculpt. Surprise the individual Groot figure is only $200, someone at HT probably made a mistake, on the other hand, $160 for a 6" figure is over the top though.

Gamora is the only one I would not buy, simply because I don't like rooted hair. I'd rather have sculpted hair, even if it impedes the articulation because I don't want to maintain a doll's hair.

I'll buy it, but the character is the one I've been least impressed with in the footage that's been seen so far. Chris Pratt sounds more wooden than a forest full of Groots.

But whatever, I'm mainly intrested in this movie because of Rocket & Groot, anything else that's awesome will be a nice bonus.

I actually like them on my HT Black Widows and Selina, it is not hard to maintain at all.

I'm thinking the same thing. Spidey and The Winter Soldier are both gonna go for now. I'll have a few of my other preorders cleared up by August or so and I won't feel like I have so many things on order. Probably going to end up getting the two pack and putting it on a flex pay schedule. At least it's not coming until next March.
