The Rocket price wasn't a shock to me - part of it is I think that they're trying to establish that you're just not going to see a sub-$160 licensed Hot Toys figure again, regardless of the size or the amount of materials used.

I never liked the talking Raccoon, now I like it even less... back in 2007 you could get a figure full of accessories with just $150 ... things really changed

You really can't unless it gets low enough. Even then sometimes I think that low quantity alert message is just to push the person that's on the edge into an impulse buy personally.

I don't think so. The closest would probably be the set with Bruce, Alfred, Batman and the Armory.

How are you able to tell how much inventory they have?

If it gets low on quantity which is 100 or below they put warning up on the figures page. So I'm watching for that. Doubt it'll happen anytime soon though

TDK Armory set has 3 figures plus the armory. If they do that, they may give them exclusive outfits or HS or accessories. Depending on what they do, if they do one, I may cave and get it but they're individual outfits would be fine

Not to mention they know batman sells very well. I can't see them taking such a big risk for a movie that they have no idea how much people enjoy and how much of a demand there is for figures

And.. I don't care if you are worth millions.

I'm seeing $200 tops for the pair, $80 for the raccoon and $120 for the other thing. HT could have still made a killer profit charging those prices.

That's sort of why I'm waiting to watch the movie first before I PO this.
