1/6 Hot Toys -- Guardians of the Galaxy - Groot & Rocket

I recommend you wait for GotG2 Star-Lord then, unless you're dead set on the long coat. I've seen the Vol 2 designs and Star-Lord isn't changing a whole lot from his jacket outfit. Rocket's new costume is more similar to his Ravager outfit. Also if you prefer big Groot then you should try to find the 2-pack now while you can, cuz for Vol 2 it looks like they're going with little Groot for most of the film if not all of it.

What about Gamorra? Like many others, Starlord is a wait until volume 2 cause he's crazy expensive now but Gamorra isn't...yet. Wait or get her before it's too late? I do like her look in the first film.

Gamora probably has the most change in Vol 2 but it's not that dramatic, she now has a white shirt to help break up all that black and the entire outfit looks different, bit of an adventurer Lara Croft type of look, but don't recall specifics unfortunately. I like her Vol 2 look better but was hoping for a more armored look like in the comics.

I am so addicted to all things 1/6. I don't think $200-ish is terribly expensive for what you get but then you start adding them up and it's a small fortune! I do have a huge collection of Spidey statues and busts at home I'm thinking of selling to fund this new addiction.

I know what you mean! I started off collecting statues, then I saw a Hot Toys Loki figure in a shop window and that was it! I sold my soul to 1/6 figures that day!! No regrets though - Hot Toys figures are awesome. I sold off a lot of my Star Wars collection to fund my HT addiction.

Yeah better late than never I've seen the prices go up for Guardians since I managed to get Star Lord a couple years back.
