Why is this guy in a day care?

She needs the end of her eyelashes trimmed :p
But I'm definately going to pick one up.. Now where does a person get one of these in HK without a prior preorder (currently in HK for holiday)... all the ones I have encountered today were already spoken for. That toy hunters shop in CTMA is pretty useless as an actual shop since you can't just buy things off their shelves.

nono all those places these guys recommended had HT figures. Prices vary a little but not by much. Mostly in Mongkok and I missed out on checking out a few hot spots. I did pick up a figure at IN's point

Cool, if people hate it then maybe the price will drop like a rock to get rid of them and I'll pick one up. I like it alright, the hair even the chest is about what I expected but its not $150 good.

It's not even $75 good. The prototype wasn't even more than $100 worth of figure.

If it came out like the proto pics, I would've sunk $150... I think hair that good is worth something.

This is a huge disappointment IMO, so I've cancelled my pre-order. No way is this figure worth the £150 that Play.com are asking. If I can pick it up later on clearance then great, if not then no bother. It really isn't a must have for me anymore.

I was just hopelessly wishing the hair would turn out like the proto considering the price point for a bare-bones figure... but that was asking too much I guess.

Sculpted long hair can be annoying too; imagine how difficult it would be to turn her head and get poses where the hair looks natural while doing so.

Yep. Rooted for me - far better option for long hair - and let the folks who cry 'barbie doll' throw their toys out of the pram.

Anyhow, a little bit of styling gel will probably fix BW's mussed up 'do... if not it's a fairly easy repair job with a bit of hot-water perm restyling.

I'm still liking it. Everything looks dead on. I'll just have to experiment using different spare bodies.

Best pic i've seen of her so far in hand..

We need more pictures!!

Yeah she is awesome. I'd say it's all about the owner and how she is arranged which is what makes her look great or not so.

Yes! I scored one today in HK, without a preorder no less!
I bought it from a shop in In's Point on Nathan Rd. Also picked up a Dark Phoenix Bishoujo statue there too! Took a while to find a shop that had one that was unspoken for. I will wait till I get back home to Canada before I unbox this beauty :)

While toy hunting today, noticed some of the shops were in disarray due to tomorrow being the start of the 5 day Ani-Com Animation Comics and Game Fair at the HKCEC.

I think she looks pretty good. I'm more turned off by how bare-bones she is considering the price. I wouldn't mind adding her to my collection but only if I can get her for $75 or less.
