Have you seen the film yet? ..if not you may like the VI better after seeing it in action.

I've seen the film, and before I saw it, I generally prefered the mkVI. Was on the fence but leaning more to the mk VI. After seeing it I prefered the mk VI. THeres not that much difference in features between the two and besides, how mine will be posed is not with the shoulder cannons. Will either be stood up straight in a heroic pose, or in some sort of pose about to blast the crap out of someone. So the mk IV has everything I want and will need and over all I prefer the look.

The only thing that bothers me slightly is the slim chest. But that isnt a deal breaker. Also since Hot Toys said they made the chest slimmer to improve articulation, whether there is any truth to that... I dont know, but if thats their reasoning then I find it unlikely that they will change it since theyve stated why it is what it is. And I also doubt they will waste time and money making the chest area larger, when a simple repaint and alteration to the arc reactor and the mkVI is done.

Yes, I saw the film and I loved it! :rock :rock :rock

I agree the Mk VI had some awesome action scenes, better ones than the IV, who didn't have much action scenes actually, but it's just those grey arm and leg parts on the VI that throw the look off for me.

When do we think HT might release the head-sculpt and pics of the other accessories (donuts!)?

If HT does it soon, here's hoping they don't change the sculpt at the last minute as per BD Mk 3...

exactly, but i think HT knows people werent happy with that situation, so i dont think they would, i really just want a flip up mask instead of an unhelmeted head, but thats just me personally.

I think thats something they will do with the mkVI. If you prefer the mkIV design, you could just pick up a mkVI helmet or whatever since they are virtually the same suit apart from paint job and chest piece

I would think the delay in release of images of the headsculpt is based on the past experience and hence we may not see it until closer to the HK release

I think we'll get an unmasked head with this and the flip up helmet with the Mark VI. This figure is clearly going to be based off of Tony in the donut, hense the accessories. And he is unmasked there. The Mark VI has him with the flip up helmet in the trailers with War Machine, so just like War Machine, I think we'll get the filp up on that one.

The Mark V? Who the heck knows :lol

I guess it won't be an angry expression then since there is not need to stare down a donut. :lol

yeah, that's what i'm hoping for. regular head for mkIV and flip up helmet head for mkVI. i would love to see an opening helmet head for the mkV, but i have no idea how the hell they could achieve that one :google

good luck hoping for that one...:ohbfrank::rolleyes:

Yea i don't see them being able 2 pull that off ..i myself predict we will get the figure with the basic light up eyes and palms, possibly also the suit in briefcase form and then an extra race suit and Downey sculpt with burns and blood to re-create how he looked after whiplash attacked him.

+ this sculpt would also work perfectly on the battle damage M3 to re-create the final battle with the ironmonger.

yeah, that's what we'll most likely get, which i have no problem with.

but if they could figure out a way to make the mkV opening helmet...that'd be amazing (but unlikely)

If they did manage 2 do it we would more then likely end up with a horrible seam right down the middle of the helmet given the way the faceplate comes together.. it wouldn't be worth it even if the inner sculpt was awesome , but the suit actually does very little ..so if it had any features it would be that ..it does have airflaps however ..

Mk.IV Head....
It'll be cool if HT... produce the unmasked head with palladium poisoning snaking up his neck... Probably a shorten fixed neck, a first for a Tony head...
BW, S. Jo with a needle (and her multiple gears) as Silken Floss also had it...
