The Iron Man Wiki does say that the Mark 9 was the one Pepper destroyed. I understand people's confusion though.

It looks like the right helmet in this picture.

It's actually the correct suit but they're doing the wrong head. They're including the Silver Sent head but it should be the Mark VII head.

The shoulders are also painted incorrectly.

It could be they just pulled old cg footage to cobble it together since it was such a brief and out of focus scene anyway. Why drop 50k on a new render for 1/2 second that most people won't be able to distinguish anyway.

O.K I am confused I though it was the Mark IX she destroyed and then used the arm to defeat Killian?

I'm pretty sure it was, in fact, the Mark 9. The Iron Man Wiki even says so.

I am excited for this set. I hope it's not too far down the line. That pepper Potts with the mk IX arm is gonna look really nice, along with the helmet sculpt for the mk 42. She will have her own shelf

Interested in the single figure. I really don't want another Iron Man. Especially when it looks like one I have already.

Upon looking at it again it actually does look like they are including the wrong Mark suit overall. She destroyed the Mark 8, not the Mark 9.

The suit below is the Mark 8, which is the one you see in the movie. Mark VII head and gold shoulder accent.

Not even getting the right mark suit with this one.

The wiki is wrong most likely since it's edited by fans. Looks like Hot Toys made the same mistake. The Mark 8 is a completely different build.

Damn, this is a surprise! Could be the IM suit I finally get for my Avengers setup, its quite similar to MKVII.

That Pepper sculpt is actually near spot on - it's the hair which is letting it down.

Who cares? The only Pepper-related accessory is the arm, which is correct either way. It's not like she actually wore the entire Mark 8 OR Mark 9.

We have an accurate MK9 and an accurate Extremis Pepper. I'm good to go. I'm sure we'll get an accurate MK8 down the line at some point too.

Looking at the pictures of the Mark 8 and Mark 9 side by side, only the Mark 8 has the gold there. That is definitely the Mark 8, NOT the Mark 9.

They may have just gone with the 9 because the 8 needs Striker's thighs, and those molds are likely busy right now making Striker.

That's a side view..both suits have gold on the side of the thigh.
