There seems to be a huge misconception about how hts only makes Iron Man and they should make (insert property). They make plenty of other stuff it just doesn't seem like its what the people complaining want. They make Spiderman, Wolverine, Thor, Terminator, Captain America, Predators, Superman, Robocop, Star Wars, Batman, G.I.Joe, Sucker Punch etc. The problem is some of these things clearly don't sell well so they stop the lines early. Why would they make things that hardly anyone will buy? I know it sucks to hear they aren't making something someone wants but that's how business goes. Plus some of these properties already had their day. Iron Man is printing them money like there's no tomorrow so why slow down now? I only really got into hts because of Iron Man and Predators so they hooked me on just those. Id like to collect other stuff but it just becomes too much. So im happy they are seeing this line through and im sure once its run its course these other people will be happy too.

:exactly: The whiners are the same people who pine for an entire line of Sucker Punch characters, meanwhile the ones that exist can't even be given away and are currently triple awards through Sideshow. :rotfl

Like it or not the Marvel (and to a lesser extent at the moment DC) releases are what make them money. The obscure lines that people want (including myself for some of them) are probably funded by profits made off of these figures, at least in part.

Hot Toys is becoming a one trick pony. These marvel releases are becoming very boring. Its almost sickening

True, it's not like Hot Toys has done seven DX DK Bale Batman's and LedgerJokers 4.0's or has released a bazillion Predators. Oh wait..

such an awful looking armour and the split feature looks very hasbro,

If you like it then more power to you, its just my opinion

:lol

Did you feel the same way in the Avengers when the Mk 7 flew out the top floor of Stark Tower and attached to Tony mid-fall?

That price point has got me thinking twice now about which ones I really want. I like the 41 but now I need to prioritize which figs are the must haves and the would likes. Congrats to those ordering this!

That looked cool, i mean more the execution of it on the figure, the flames look a bit naff dont they? i know its the armours feature but how could or who would display it like that?

Displaying it that way will take some creativity for sure. I agree, I'm not really big on the flames either as I have no intention of displaying it in pieces, but it's better than nothing. :dunno

Maybe they'll include a special stand or display piece to hold the parts separately :dunno? There's no point for the flames if you can't display them

$285? For a plastic bare "bones" figure? Yeah, the diecast Mark 42 for $309 is definitely going to be the last and only Iron Man figure in my collection.

$285? Yeah right. HT is going to hit 300 on plastic IM MMS releases soon. It's IM so a bunch of you will buy it. Not me.

yeah I'd expected $209 for this guy but $285, pfft :slap

The Diescast were $300+-, now we can expect them to charge this everytime, ugh! Despicable

Mark IV Secret Project $214.99
