Umm, 2 people order something at the same time; one already has the item in hand while the other hasn't even been charged for it much less shipped it,regardless of the fact both were told charges would start going through 8 days ago?

Seems like someone is getting screwed to me.


It's like waiting a week to pay a seller on ebay because they won't send you an invoice. It's annoying, unprofessional and rude.

I'm surprised to see this starting to happen with Sideshow because I've been ordering from them for years now and they were always pretty on schedule when they said they would start charging me.

This is a Hot Toys figure that has got to be a very limited shipment for them.
A company of their caliber should not take over a full week to charge and ship such a small number of items,period.

I am a waitlist convertee so I'm expecting mine to be one of the last to ship.

Actually friend, I've been collecting for over 20 years and poor service is poor service. Maybe you mean I'm new to SSC but even that would be untrue. I have at least 40 SSC figures. Maybe also you misinterpret this as someone complaining about waiting on a pre-order charge which isn't true either: I'm complaining that I have been told to look for the charge and it's 8 days later with nothing. If an item is delayed or what not, that is a different story.
When it's been sitting in their warehouse long enough for some people to already have recieved it yet others haven't even been charged much less shipped the item,that's poor management and customer service.

Like many people,when I'm told I'm going to be charged for something I expect to be charged for it. I am not rich and I balance my money so it's a pet peeve of mine to be told I'm about to be charged and then sit 2 weeks waiting for the funds to leave my account.

Regardless of when you ordered it,where you live,Etc....most businesses ship a certain item all at once,to all who ordered it. That's good business practice and SSC is slipping in that dept, among others. If they didn't sell Hot Toys figures I wouldn't even order from them anymore. The quality of their own figures and shipping practices has been on a steady decline recently.

It seems that they do things pretty randomly as I just jumped on the waitlist in January and converted in February and have already been charged.

Try calling sideshow and ask them directly to process your order that's what I did

Looks like Sideshow only got a limited amount of these. The Ex is shipping now, but the regular has been moved to June.

Finally got my quantum shipping notice for him today while I was out at dinner. I had gotten a pre-authorization hold for the funds last week, but they waited so long the pre-auth wore off and the charge dropped. Shipping the IM Mk II's has been a bit of a weird situation. Hope Don Corleone doesn't go through so many slowdowns.

YES ! got home today and checked my mail, there it was, a notice from sideshow that my waitlist for the EX is converting. i just placed it 5 days ago.after i got on the very fast pre-order for the gunmetal grey version and got it. i thought i better try to get this one because i missed out on pre-order. soon i will have all three

I received my processing e-mail on 5-19 to let me know they'll start processing orders on 5-20 and that's it. No e-mail yet letting me know if they're shipping.

They are starting to ship the EX. Some people here have already got theirs from Sideshow. The regular edition won't ship until later in June though.
