I dont own either the II or the III but with those of you with both why does it seem the II is most preferred when III is the main movie suit and this isnt shiny like in the movie?

Or does the III look cheap in person?

It just has an edge, both are very cool, but the paint finish and the face reveal plate put the cherry on top!

I don't have one yet, but need to know their customer service level since I heard a lot of paint scratch problem with it. Just in case I bought one.

i do bud. some minor scratches. i was thinking of just ignoring it, but if they get worse over time, then i really need to send it back. also, one of the foot panels was snapped on mine before i even opened the box. not happy about that at all. leo at goodshipped has offered to change it for me, but shipping for the heavy box will just be crazy.

Shipping is also what concerns me most about it. It would cost a lot of money, if not close to the value of the figure itself, if we had to pay to ship it there and back to us.

What I'm guessing is that we have to pay to send the fig to HK, and HT will pay the shipping when they ship the fig back to us.

Don't need to send the box, just the fig itself.

Well, Sideshow charged me for MkII, hopefully I'll get a shipping notice soon. Has anyone else noticed that they Estimate it to be $167.85 with shipping, and then they just go ahead and charge you $20 to ship, for a total of $179.99? Methinks they are making a little extra money on shipping, and figure we won't notice.

Yeah, I'll definitely be glad to get it- but one would think since they already know my address, the shipping estimate would be closer. $20 even on my last 2 items tells me they are not charging exact shipping, just taking $20 to cover it.
I may have to start getting all my stuff from BBTS- the prices are lower, and the shipping is lower.

Yeah, in this case, it is the EX, also in the case of Don Corleone I have on order, too. Looks like I'm gonna drop getting non-EX stuff from SS's website.

I live in PA and the last time I bought a HT figure off of SS they only charged me $10 for shipping. I remember people saying that they got charged extra shipping when the Mark III shipped, so I don't know what the deal is.

Ah, ^^^^! I had a Two-Face on order at CSC that I forgot about and I was just charged for that and now I've only got $20 left on the card I use for these. Hopefully they will be kind enough to refund it for me before SS charges me for this.

I called SS and found out this was the pre-authorization amount and the real total will be charged when it ships.

Glad to see they're screwing over the east coast customers....I haven't even been charged yet. 7 days after being told to expect the charge.

I expect this type of behavior from crappy ebay sellers, not Sideshow.

This is BS.
