I would love Hot Toys could release a music line with rock legends and today modern heroes like Jimmi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Gene Simmons, Axl Rose, Bono, Kurt Cobain, Mick Jagger, John Lennon and Freddie Mercury...just please no Hip Hoppers or Rappers!!

According to Buttmunch, he spoke to Sideshow and they already said they won't be carrying any of the 10th Anniversary figures by orders of Hot Toys.

Yes, just to repeat, Sideshow will NOT be getting in any of the exclusives from this event. Not even the Friend. HT wants to keep these in Asia, so go figure how Toys2 is managing to get them.

Well, it was suspected the event didn't turn out as well as they had hoped. So many were hoping this would lead to them allowing distributers to sell them. But thats not the case. Definately a big FU on HT's part to all of their collectors outside of Japan and Hong Kong. Clearly they don't yet realize just how global they are now.

Now explain the Batman situation. DC Direct is the official distributer of HT's Batman products to North America. And they aren't offering those. I suspect Toys2 is just buying what they can from where they can, hense the huge price hike on these.

Its true though, just cant bring myself to paying so much for one figure. The coming months will bring about more exciting HT products, so I need to pick & choose my purchases carefully....
