No disrespect, but does anyone understand time travel?
The theory is so full of anomalies you can tie yourself in knots. How far do you want to take the notion? Once Skynet knew that a re-programmed T-800 saved JC no less than 2 times, why not just redesign the T-800 in a different way... or plant a bomb in every T-800 at the point of manufacture that cant be removed without it self destructing and can be remotely detonated when Skynet chooses. When dealing with any story... but especially a time travel story there comes a point where you just have to let go and try to enjoy the ride.
Cheers, I'm working on the JC review at the same time (but as two seperates), should both be done early next week I'm hoping!Pics are looking great, Wookster!!!

I meant time travel in the terminator universe. Just cuz they can change the timeline doesn't mean they should just completely throw all continuiy out the window...
But you're right, it is full of anomalies. Why not just take the plans for the time travel device back to 10,000 BC, along with gun designs and iphones? Or you could make computers exponentially better in a single second. You could make a computer, improve it over a few years, take the technology back in time, and improve that. You could do this infinitely, so in a single second you could have something as powerful as all modern computers combined, in a device as big as a penny that could be easily mass-produced. Put several hundred of those together, and you could render photo-realistic 3D graphics in real-time, making video games infinitely better! And when you're done, you can take it back to the 1800's, and by now we would have awesome video games for 200 years!
Cheers Shaun, looking forward to seeing you work your magic with him. Likewise the Joker DX, did you see my review was up?
Yup, read it over, enjoyed the photo work, particularly your closeup head shots, where many have made him look goofy/toyish in closeups, you captured a realistic appearance in your work.
I envy you and Jedibear with your nice locales for images, I'd love to have nice spots like that conveniently nearby.
Cheers, but my nice 'rock pile' that I've been using this summer won't last. I've been excavating my back garden (where they are taken) and they were all dug out by me from an old rockery and piled up for dumping. I've got rather attached to them for my photography, but I don't think Kate would take too kindly if I said 'how's about keeping the big pile of rubble?' sigh!
Moore's Law would negate the taking the technology back through time an infinite number of times.
I notice your shots so far are just the BD and leather coat, not a fan of the clean head and blue jacket?
I really like the blue coat most in the set, I think there's something visually cool about coats like that, Joker, Marcus, Neo in the Matrix. It's almost like a cape with the way it flows but it doesn't just hang off like a cape.
Sorry, I'm playing 'forum post tennis' here, but no, I also prefer the blue coat by quite a big degree, I also prefer the undamaged head. However I did find photographing the the whole 'damaged' look just a bit more fun... when the review goes up you'll get the full lowdown, but it's actually got me contemplating getting another set... there is no hope for me!

There are even more simple ones than that, why not send back 3 T-800's? or 5 T-1000's, why is the 'more advanced' T-X easier to destroy than the 'only vulnerable to lava' T-1000? hmmm....
Did you see this page, there are a few, but more will follow with the review.
