No disrespect, but does anyone understand time travel?

The theory is so full of anomalies you can tie yourself in knots. How far do you want to take the notion? Once Skynet knew that a re-programmed T-800 saved JC no less than 2 times, why not just redesign the T-800 in a different way... or plant a bomb in every T-800 at the point of manufacture that cant be removed without it self destructing and can be remotely detonated when Skynet chooses. When dealing with any story... but especially a time travel story there comes a point where you just have to let go and try to enjoy the ride.

I meant time travel in the terminator universe. Just cuz they can change the timeline doesn't mean they should just completely throw all continuiy out the window...

But you're right, it is full of anomalies. Why not just take the plans for the time travel device back to 10,000 BC, along with gun designs and iphones? Or you could make computers exponentially better in a single second. You could make a computer, improve it over a few years, take the technology back in time, and improve that. You could do this infinitely, so in a single second you could have something as powerful as all modern computers combined, in a device as big as a penny that could be easily mass-produced. Put several hundred of those together, and you could render photo-realistic 3D graphics in real-time, making video games infinitely better! And when you're done, you can take it back to the 1800's, and by now we would have awesome video games for 200 years! :D

Pics are looking great, Wookster!!! :rock :rock :rock

I'm looking forward to your review!!!
Cheers, I'm working on the JC review at the same time (but as two seperates), should both be done early next week I'm hoping!
Then they just need a slot when Michael can put them up!

I know exactly what you're saying, but sometimes I just put my 'stupid head' on when watching certain movies, and I did for both T3 and T:S and I think I'm less bitter for it!

PS
I also wore it fot KOTCS and thought that was OK... well except for the monkies, that was unforgiveable!:banghead

Cheers Shaun, looking forward to seeing you work your magic with him. Likewise the Joker DX, did you see my review was up?

Yup, read it over, enjoyed the photo work, particularly your closeup head shots, where many have made him look goofy/toyish in closeups, you captured a realistic appearance in your work.

I envy you and Jedibear with your nice locales for images, I'd love to have nice spots like that conveniently nearby.

Cheers, but my nice 'rock pile' that I've been using this summer won't last. I've been excavating my back garden (where they are taken) and they were all dug out by me from an old rockery and piled up for dumping. I've got rather attached to them for my photography, but I don't think Kate would take too kindly if I said 'how's about keeping the big pile of rubble?' sigh!

Well, I can think of a solution to keep the rocks and avoid the argument, but it's not a good one :lol

I won't ask then!

But getting back to Marcus, the funny is that I'm realy feeling the love for JC, but not so much for Marcus, and for me he actually nudges ahead by a whisker, only a tiny whisker, but a whisker nonetheless!

I notice your shots so far are just the BD and leather coat, not a fan of the clean head and blue jacket?

I really like the blue coat most in the set, I think there's something visually cool about coats like that, Joker, Marcus, Neo in the Matrix. It's almost like a cape with the way it flows but it doesn't just hang off like a cape.

Moore's Law would negate the taking the technology back through time an infinite number of times.

Ah, but... and ignore me if I'm wrong... or just tell me why I'm wrong, I won't mind at all, as I'm well out of my comfort zone here!
But isn't Moore's Law based on the advancement of emerging, but essentially 'known' technology, where as time travel is very much a concept, with a basis more in the theory of 'quantum physics' rather than 'hard science'. My brain hurts!

Sorry, I'm playing 'forum post tennis' here, but no, I also prefer the blue coat by quite a big degree, I also prefer the undamaged head. However I did find photographing the the whole 'damaged' look just a bit more fun... when the review goes up you'll get the full lowdown, but it's actually got me contemplating getting another set... there is no hope for me!

PS

Did you see this page, there are a few, but more will follow with the review.

I've thought about it to, but where it will cost either as much just about for all the loose pieces I want as to get a whole other figure set, I'm not feeling it, I don't care about him enough to want to spend that to have both at once, of course I say that now, i said the same of Harvey Dent and now I have two full Dent and Two-Face figures instead of swapping out.

I'll definitely have fun with the BD head, playing with subtle highlighting of the Endo bits and all.

Most definitely, characters with these accessories in 1/6th look really good, i will display Marcus with clean sculpt and blue great coat always i think..atleast until i get clothes for an extra TT for the damaged head and jacket.

Great collection of shots, wookster! It's cool to see someone else take figures outside...there's nothing quite like natural light to highlight a figure's true visual strengths. Adding that dimension to these image threads along with some great "studio" work like Sean and facebox (and many others!) presents really rounds out the presentation of these figures....always helps heighten the anticipation for a figure's imminent arrival or adds to the enjoyment of the figure once in hand.

I'm really enjoying the great photo work these TS figures are getting from everyone...this line's quality has been outstanding and easily captured in shots...looking forward to seeing more....and adding my own to the mix.

There are even more simple ones than that, why not send back 3 T-800's? or 5 T-1000's, why is the 'more advanced' T-X easier to destroy than the 'only vulnerable to lava' T-1000? hmmm....

The T-X was a better infiltrator, gained information on targets faster then the T-1000 but, they are movies right guys?..I mean its not like we are talking Trek here, then i could see the need to ask why not/why did questions..i don't really try and break it down to these little things.I just wish James Cameron would save the franchise.
