Finally got one for free as payment for some repeated custom work for a good friend/dealer.

I don't like T:S, and I hate the Marcus character, but I love this figure just for the fact that to me it represents a not-Arnold T-800. By my reasoning, the 800's are just the cyborg designation. Model 101 is Arnold. My Marcus then is just another model # of a T-800.

I wanted to come up with something unique for him to carry, and came up with something that reminds me of the Franco Columbo Terminator, but may even be a little cooler. It's amazing how awesomely Aliens weapons translate into Terminator weapons.

This Marcus is holding the Smart Gun with stripped down rigging. The other head will go on a True Type wearing the Kyle Reese clothes and he will have the Colonial Marines Pulse Rifle.

As soon as I knock some commissions out of the way, I will be tearing more of the skin off of his endo arm, replacing portions of his fingers with endo fingers, and I will be grinding out the rest of his left eye to sculpt in an endo eye with lighting and I will grind off more of his mouth to sculpt in some teeth.

Marcus is not a T-800 though, he is a Hybrid model..looks quite different then a T-800 and is much weaker.

In T:S, he is a T-800 Hybrid, and he was strong enough to rip the head off of T-Arnold.

Besides, you missed the part where I don't give a crap about T:S. On my shelf, Marcus is a different model # T-800. Remember, in my mind, the T-800s are all the cyborgs regardless of endoskeletal deisgn. The model number determines endo and outward appearnces. I wouldn't even call him Marcus except that that is how this figure is known.

From any where i have read..it was never stated that he was a T-800 Hybrid..just that he was a Hybrid and part of "Project Angel" thats all that is known. He can keep up with a T-800 but, has more weaknesses.

There was this, apparently used at an exhibition of the movie's make up department-

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right. You're saying that all Terminator endos are T-800s? Even the ones known by the rest of us as T-700s and T-600s? Despite all canonical statements to the contrary? ("The 600 series had rubber skin. They were easy to spot. But these are new...")

T-600 is closest thing we have seen to a T-800 out of all the Endoskeleton designs, and its function is pretty much the same as a T-800..the T-700 does not exist to me..it should have been shown but, never was.T-600 was a fail..T-800 is the Cyberdyne's work horse Terminator out of all the Terminators that were created.Model number usually is in refference to what type of outer skin appearance a Terminator had..be it T-800's or 600's.

got my shipping info from viking playground, i should get it by Tuesday! :joy

T-800 stands for the type of Endoskeleton the Terminator is assembled as. As for skin model number they use a different code such as CSM-101 (Cyberdyne Systems Model 101) which is the Arnie skin. But the endoskeleton is still a T-800.

Just got mine tonight. Really wish he came with a final battle outfit also.

It looks awesome and give me a reason to keep the regular head on him. I thought I was gonna like the damaged head a lot but I think I like the regular head a lot more.

WIP Custom.
I thought some of you would like to see how Marcus' Endo arm looks like with most of the "flesh" removed.
Too bad the pistons aren't "real".
