X-McFreak just be honest with us if indeed you notice that your fix did not work, I won't say I told u so or anything just honestly wondering if you might have solved something and if it turns out you were wrong please let us know so no one else follows in your footsteps.

That being said not doubting for a minute the learnings found by those poor guys who lived through the batman nightmare.

I plan to get a cast but till hoping something can be done

Also wondering if anyone else supports our theory that the problem might stem from the shoulder rig and not the shirt?

I guess I'm feeling like I shouldn't touch it and hope it lasts until a recast or some miracle happens and HT offers a replacement.

Given both are cast from the same material, it might very well be both.

i fear its all my friends. not only are both the hot toys harness and shirt oily on mine, but one of my elbow pads and literally the top of one boot!

got my dc direct already today. i took a couple pics of the dc direct harness, top, and elbow pads. i have him on the "dutch" body so i think that helps with the extra size. im happy with mine. however not everyone will have the bigger body. this means it will require more work. especially at the sides of his
tank top. its flared out for the big lats on the dc direct. i havent fastened or glued anything either.

The DCD suit looks good on the Dutch Body!
Is Dutch body the same as the T800s
You could make clearer pics?
Thanks

Definitly gonna get one ^^

As for the harness leaking too, been wondering about that too.
But if even the elbow and boots do...
Man...

As for the replacement, i'm gonna ask that it be done in the same color as the original. The only painting that you will need done is either the the silver buckles or a little weathering.

I'm as you guys and want the best replacement possible.
So you can count on me to bust the sculptor's ass ^^

I dont know if anyone can answer me..The harness attach on the grenade launcher detach so easely..i just move the figure and the harness detach i wonder if all the grenade launcher are the same?Or mine might just be broken..Once again sorry about my bad english...

How did you fix it King? Just smeared it over where it was leakin?

You know if it's an issue of the oil leaking out what about coating the areas with a sealant of some kind? Not Armorall but something else... It sounds weird but what about nail polish hardener on the inside of the rig? The rig does not need to be flexible and this way there is a layer separating out what appears to be the main problem area, where they touch...

:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo: I have absolutely no sympathy for a company that charges what they do, make defective products like this, force customers to terrorize them publicly to even get a response, then force them to jump through hoops to get only a small handful of replacements or downright refuse to replace their defective items. :cuckoo:
:exactly:
........

I like the fact that u guys wanna work together to find a solution. it sucks that u guys gotta pay extra to fix ht's mistake i think a cast plastic or resin type of armour is gonna be your best option...... are the pants not also of the same meterial? you probably gonna have to also replace them also.. good luck..

The whole outfit (vest and pants), harness and elbow pads will likely need replacing. :(

I have yet to give the upper suit to the sculptor for the replacement but i asked him about a hard replacement (plastic or resin) and he said it would need to be in 2 parts, then glued together or some sort of attachment...
I'll look into that too if it's a prefered solution by the fellow freaks.
s for the rest, i could ask for Elbows, but if we need to do the pant and harness it would become ridiculous and pricey.
Might be better off without this figure at all.

You think BIG CHAP could really suffer from this problem too?
Wanted to buy one but now...

I just sold a big chap, but I wasn't really worried about it. I had had it for a while and it still seemed perfectly fine. I just sold it because we had talked about moving the collection to a more public part of the house and that one scared little kids, so I figured I'd sell it and use the money for something else rather than put it in storage.
I wasn't sure if that figure had rubber in it or some other material. It didn't feel like the same stuff, but the material was much thicker than what the Comedian suit was made from.
