Avatar may have had a tired story, but it was entertaining as hell. Way more so then Terminator Salvation. Atleast Avatar put some heart and character in it. You could make the same movie with action figures, because thats all the characters came off to me. Static wooden, and boring. Meh.

Anyhoo....mooovin on.

But you have ADD, so how does your point even matter? :lol:p

He didnt direct that. Filmed a few scenes, and got fired from the set because he didnt agree with that the producers wanted.

Nope, he directed piranha 2 and im pretty sure he wrote the screenplay as well. Terminator salvation was great for what it was, a big budget action film.

CelticP, Nam, I'm getting an HT Celtic Pred. Used, loose, all accessories, great condish... for $430 shipped. Just felt I had to share that :). So pumped!!

Aaaaaanyhow, back to the discussion. I wouldn't say Avatar was mindless action, but story-wise it definitely lacked. It was clearly more about looks. That's to be expected, and I think that was even the main point of the entire film. Can't wait for the collectibles it'll lead to, though! Those ought to be priced a good $200, but darn it all, it's worth it for a 20"-tall Na'vi :D.
