Uh.... doesn't that mean that he still directed it? :huh:lol
that meant two guys directed the film, but someone else, the producer, got the final say. that meant cameron got in late and didnt get involve with developing the story/casting/budgeting/etc.

his fullfledged directing gig is the terminator. but check out spielberg's or even tarantino's first film to see how they fare better. comparing someone's first try at directing a low budget flick to a millions dollars tentpole summer blockbuster with full backing of a hollywood studio is as stupid as comparing cameron to mcg.

correct as well.

James Cameron:
I'm ambivalent about it. Technically, I have a credit as the director on that film. However, I was replaced after two-and-a-half weeks by the Italian producer. He just fired me and took over, which is what he wanted to do when he hired me. It wasn't until much later that I even figured out what had happened. It was like, "Oh, man, I thought I was doing a good job." But when I saw what they were cutting together, it was horrible. And then the producer wouldn't take my name off the picture because [contractually] they couldn't deliver it with an Italian name. So they left me on, no matter what I did. I had no legal power to influence him from Pomona, California, where I was sleeping on a friend's couch. I didn't even know an attorney. In actual fact, I did some directing on the film, but I don't feel it was my first movie. So I don't think I should have to take the lumps. I used it as a credit when it did me some good, which was to get Terminator. Subsequently, I dropped it. I think that makes sense

correct as well.

James Cameron:

Well, you told another freak to get their facts straight and it sounds like you don't even have yours straight. Whatever the case, he got to yell "action" and "cut" and regardless of how much or little, still directed it.

He directed it for two weeks....I really dont think that counts.

I dont see why you would either, except for agurments sakes. :dunno

Two weeks is two weeks. They even credited him for it. That's like saying you're not gay despite openly taking it in the ass from another man for a couple of weeks. :dunno

:lol

That's a strange analogy. But I still disagree. He directed some of it. But the majority of the film was not left in his hands, and he was only credited due to legal issues.

Did you know that this guy named Alex Cox directed some of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? And then he left due to Thompson ragging on him for creative differences? Then came Terry Gilliam, and that is who is credited. Not Alex Cox.

And Richard Donner directed some of Superman 2 as well but wasn't credited either. Point is, they still directed part of it. And I think that analogy (pun intended :naughty) is perfect.

I can't imagine anybody is 100% sure, but it seems likely. Regardless, the Redfield version isn't accurate for T-2.

Are you guys still 100% sure the M134 will be released with the BD?

No, nothing's 100%, just hopeful guessing on our part. If you're desperate to get it, buy it, we were just saying, it might be worthwhile to wait because if you want the BD figure, if they make one, there's a good chance of him coming with that stuff anyway.

So what are you guys gonna do when and if they release a battle damaged version?

I personally think it's a bit much owning both version hence I am selling on the regular Iron Man III I have.

Bit this is Arnie Terminator we are talking about. A lot of us grew up on T2.
