I was originally ordering from Sideshow and someone recommended Mothers Basement and I thought grand only 2 weeks but if it's delayed again, I'm done with them.

It's not a fault of MB.
It's just that the UK seems to get them nearly last.
But they have free shipping, good prices, and reward points you can use against other purchases.

Surly if Scotland gains independence it would remain part of the United Kingdom postage wise! Right?

Afaik they are voting to leave the UK to become their own country like the Republic of Ireland.

I personally hope they don't leave I would be sad to see them leave the UK, but I will support whatever decision is made. I love Scotland and would no doubt continue to visit whatever the decision.

I am hoping for independence. And will be voting for that next year.
The naysayers(Anyone who comes on TV trying to convince the voting population NOT to vote for independence), always seem to bring up negatives.
Don't vote to break apart! Scotland doesn't have the resources to stand on it's own!
Don't vote to break apart! The UK subsidises a lot of Scottish services. That will all end if you break apart!

I hate negative campaigning.
And never trust it.
If a politician tells me i would have less money in my pocket if i vote against him, i wonder what he's hiding about the other guys...

I personally feel that Scotland(A place 2/3rds the area of England, but with less population than London), has to be able to support it's population independently(If we just built dams and HE stations all through the highlands, we could be electrically self sustaining and probably sell half of what we make to England, lol).
Anything said otherwise is just scaremongering.
Scotland was never given any option of being part of the United Kingdom.
And hopefully when the vote comes, people will not be entranced by the negativity of the other parties and vote for a Scotland free of England.
If i had the powers of Superman, i'd use my heat vision to sever Scotland and the Islands(And the ROI if they wanted), and move our part of the continental shelf to somewhere warmer.
Maybe somewhere near Bermuda. Or halfway between Hawaii and SF.
That's unlikely to happen of course, so i will be voting for an independent Scotland. :lol

Great pics!
Thanks for posting them.

May I ask why you want independence? Don't get me wrong I am not questioning your decision, I am interested in hearing your opinion to gain a better understanding. :)

Is it because you feel Scotland can support itself or is it a deeper feeling? Whatever happens I am sure UK/Scotland relations will remain strong.

I want independence because Scotland was never asked if it wanted to be part of the UK. It was and has been forced upon us.
If the vote is for staying part of the union by an overwhelming majority then i can abide by that.
I feel that the SNP would not be pushing for this if we couldn't support ourselves.
I also feel that the Oil, Whisky and other exports must generate a lot of revenue for the opponents of independence to be so very vocal.
When a politician tells me that *I* am better off staying put, i know that usually means that *they* are better off with me staying put.
I can't help but think that Scotland wouldn't be any worse off on our own, and if anything, it will be the UK that might suffer.
Why else would they be so vocal?
Politicians seldom care about anything except maintaining the status quo.
I just have my fingers crossed that the majority of the voting public in Scotland see the possibilities of full independence.

Thanks for the insight was always curious to hear views that are not reported on a news site. I like to have a better understanding when it comes to things like this as lets face it, would be arrogant of me to say I fully understood as I am not Scottish.

If you get a yes vote I hope it works out for you all, I may even be tempted to apply for citizenship one day, always been fond of Scotland, not been for time I really must get around to visiting again. I love how rural it is my first trip was breath taking the further north I travelled.

It's just like anyone wanting their country to be free to make it's own choices.
If enough people vote for it(Which i am assuming will happen due to the amount of people who voted SNP in the last election), it will be a day long remembered.

Perhaps I should campaign for Yorkshire independence :p

Was Yorkshire invaded and stolen by the English too?
I suppose it could have been. They did it to half of the world back in the day.

Meant no disrespect, bit of a running joke where I live. Bit of a War of the Roses kind of thing, those damned Lancastrians :p

Plus they took more land off us!

Yorkshire’s boundaries were changed in 1974. It abolished the shires and implemented the much disliked new county’s of Humberside (east Ridings).

Some parts of Yorkshire were given away to:

Cumbria – Sedburgh district
Durham – Stratforth district
Lancashire (shame!) – Bowland, Barnoldswick, Earby

Instead of the ridings Yorkshire was split into North, South and West. There was no East Yorkshire except the disgrace of Humberside!

I am posting this a bit tongue in cheek lol. :rotfl

Anyway, think i derailed this thread enough, Looking forward to my Workshop Tony.
